DH just got home from work and I didn't even say hello but instead frog marched him to the kitchen albeit very slowly so that he could check for damage for me. :o. I am very relieved to report that our oven is in fact fine and still working so have absolutely no idea what the noises were? :D

I am seriously relieved Kandboys! :D. I was a blubbering wreck over a broken keyring yesterday so heaven knows what I would have been like if I had destroyed our oven! :rotfl: It is only 6 months old as well so am just not ready to have to think about replacing it yet. :o

Getting really weepy as the day goes on .... feel like everything is getting on top of me .... really silly things too, like feeling like a total failure for forgetting to order cheese and fromage frais for the kids packed lunches from Mr T on my online grocery order :o. Then I had a melt down because I couldn't find the paperwork for DS1's Beaver trip which needs to be in tonight with a £10 deposit, then I realised when I found it that I didn't have £10 in the house to pay for it ..... <sigh>

Maybe it's just coz I'm so tired from not having much sleep last night. I just feel rubbish :o

Koalamummy, glad you didn't do any damage to the oven! How is your back?

Awww mrsspendalot...We all have days like this. I went shopping yesterday & then decided to get petrol. Started filling up & went into sudden meltdown when I realised I didn't have the money to pay for it! The ladies in Morrisons petrol station were laughing their heads off when I went in apologising & explaining it was my due date & my head had gone shopping without my bank card. :rotfl:Quick dash home for cash & all was sorted.
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:

Is anyone craving really strange things? I am 33 weeks and worried - I really want to eat paper! What does that mean? I craved ice with my 1st towards the end if that helps. I haven't eaten the paper obviously, but I have had to hide it all!

Paper??! lol! When I was pregnant with DS2 I couldn't stand the smell of newspaper or the rubber on shoes! My mum craved coal when she was pregnant with me and my sister :rotfl:!

MrsS please don't let it get you down we really do all have days like that and it doesn't mean we are not good or perfectly capable competent people. :). If it helps any I always think of my dads favorite stock answer when I get stressed out about life which is that if nobody has died or is likely to die as a result of what has went wrong then it is really not that bad and is all fixable....and much as I hate to admit it at the time he is absolutely right. :o. My back is not good just now due to recurring sciatica and spd striking at the same time which don't mix well with the very large size of my baby but it will all be fine soon enough.

Becky I do things like that when I am not even pregnant! :rotfl:

Kirstle I have heard of people having cravings for all manner of things including bars of soap :)

BCS so sorry hun you are down, hope you don't need to think about going back on the Prozac. I know it's easy for me to say, not being in your situation, try to take each day at a time and can something as basic as good quality dark chocolate help? I heard that it can induce happy hormones, which may counteract how you are feeling even if a tiny bit. I love Green & Blacks Maya Gold - dark choc with orange and cinammon, it's yummy!,

MrsSpendalot sorry you're not having a great time, I have def had days like that, normally because of work stress. Hope you feel better soon!

Koala hope your back is ok and your leg behaves itself from now on!

Kirstle no such cravings for me yet but then again I am 30 weeks - who knows what the next 10 weeks hold!

My mum has unexpectedly been given an operation date of tomorrow, typical the day after I leave. She will be unconscious for 4 days and her temperature reduced to bare minimum just to keep the core functioning, it's so scary and she is hundreds of miles away rom the Uk, then 4 hours away from her own home and even from her hubby as it was so sudden. I know she was worried about not making it for baby's birth, so at least she will be relieved to get this over and done with, but I can't wait until Monday so she can start recovery, won't be released for around 4 weeks though.

i just want huge amounts of food.. not sweet stuff.. just meat and veg.. I am such a pig! I need to be REALLY careful about how much weight I gain as well as I still have a stone from having Squeak.. :(

my scan is such a long way off and this baby is barely moving again.. I am absolutely convinced there is something wrong with it.. I have no reason to think it at the moment, but the feeling of impending doom is enormous... not that I am dramatic in the least of course :p I daren't tell the children because I feel like the second I do it will all go wrong.. :(
