Nope nothing.. the nearest is York or Leeds (50-65 miles away).. and OH will not drive all the way there just for that. I was looking at a private dating scan and there is nothing. there is a place does the 4D scans but they will only do them after the anomaly scan at 20 weeks.

I went to http://www.meetyourbaby.com/ just outside of Leeds and one of the cheapest.

Pigpen an old uni friend of mine used a private hospital in Leeds for IVF which was part of a chain of hospitals and I think they were called Spires or The Spires or something similar. They provided scans for every occasion at every stage of pregnancy. Sorry I have no idea of where you actually are based but maybe they have a hospital near you?

you need a gp referral and it was £300 for a dating scan.. I daren't ask about anything ese.. but thanks.

Congratulations Mimi.

BBM. I have never met you before but I am really happy for you that your little one is making such good progress. . My oldest boy was born at 27 + 1 and I remember being told that dealing with such a preterm baby and all of the complications that can be involved is apparently at least as stressful as both moving house and getting married. Please try and make some time for yourself too now that he is progressing well and make sure that you let friends and family do things for you and help you. . I was the fool that didn't have the sense to do that but ended up paying for it later.

Pigpen - what did your OH say about the scan?

Today i am mostly tired but looking very pregnant today and feeling very smily about it Elvis is moving around and i think im starting to notice little patterns of the times they are moving
