Our little Amelia finally got a blood result today :D It had to be under 7, and came in at 1.something. She's also gone from 8lb 8 to 8lb 15 since last Friday instead of losing weight :D

Mum and baby staying in tonight as Mums blood pressure is still up, hopefully home tomorrow.

One of our neighbours came over tonight, they have a 4 month old, to see how I was doing. I mentioned that I was doing the wash as we'd ran out of babygros as each day we expected them home so all were in a bag at the hospital that I'd just brought home. She said I'll get you some, so I said 2 would be great as I doubted the wash would be dry. She came back an hour later with a Tesco bag for life filled 3/4 full with new and slightly used girls things. So kind! :D

Opposite our bed on the ward has been a young couple, who have been having the most hilarious conversations. They'd been there since Sunday and I mentioned that I never saw them use the bin. She left today and as she did we saw the mess she'd left for the nurses, nappies, drinks, etc, disgraceful when the bin is on the otherside of the room.

    Morning all

Nothing exciting to report from me. I'm 39 weeks today.

Hopefully the fact most of the boldies are being quiet means they are busy having mummy cuddles. Sending labour vibes to those who want them.
You can send them to me from Monday :D

    Morning :D
    Happy 39 weeks Nic :j

Nothing doing here with me either today, had a really bad bout of sickness about 1am again. It's annoying how I have had sickness throughout the majority of this pregnancy again and it seems to have suddenly stepped up a gear! I'm sure i read somewhere though that it can go back to being quite bad in the last week or so as it is just a flood of hormones getting ready for labour? The end is in sight though and if I do continue to throw up every day it's only for 2 more weeks at the most, so can cope with that! :D

My nieces are back up again for Easter weekend so it would be lovely if something happened in the next couple of days but I'm not holding my breath, I was at my bff's yesterday for her dd's birthday and I think everyone was on edge wondering if something was going to happen!! Bubs at one point started going mad and it took my breath away as it was so uncomfortable and the look on everyones face was a picture :rotfl: unfortunately no such luck!!

Hope everyone has a nice day and hopefully there will be more announcements soon!

    Iceicebaby- many congrats!

Vroom and others- It'll arrive soon!

Keith- Hope Nic gets out soon. It's amazing how nice people can show themselves to be when there's a baby. Your neighbours sound lovely.

Alfalfa- Glad she seems so good for you.
