Anyway on a more amusing note for those in need of a laugh my 2 year old has just brought a pair of elf craft scissors in from the study where he is building something with his older brother and brought them to my stomach while informing me that he has waited too long and that it is time for tiny baby to come out and play now! :rotfl:

Awwwwww that is so sweet!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Afternoon everyone,

Had a really horrible few days, feeling really ill and having lots of dizzy spells. Been to the dcotors this morning and he has signed me off work for a week :( also have to go back and have my bloods taken again tomorrow to check them.

Only 13 + 6 today, is it going to be this stressful all the way through? :rotfl:

Gonna shout this so you take note - REST UP MRS!! Take care of yourself and hope you're back on your feet soon xxx

Hello ladies. Haven't had chance to read back due to the demands of a newborn so I'll cover myself by saying congrats to all the new arrivals and labour vibes to those that need them.

Joseph and I left hospital on weds and to be honest I was a mess. The birth was induced as I devleoped HELLP syndrome and it was all slightly horrendous to say the least. I couldn't BF properly and was struggling all weds and thurs until I gave in and went to Tesco at midnight on thurs for formula. MW came on friday and weighed him and he had lost too much weight so she sent us to hospital where they kept us in overnight. In my heart I knew he wasn't feeding and the guilt has been heart breaking. I've been a mess all week and haven't enjoyed a minute of it. After being in hosp on fri tho I made the decision to express and give formula only and it feels like a weight has been lifted. Joseph is a completely different baby ever since and has been thriving and I'm finally learning to become a mummy. We had a lovely first mothers day yesterday.

OH has been amazing. I honestly couldn't have got through it without him. He knows his stuff and has been showing me how to make up bottles and work the pump!! He's a star an the best daddy ever. I swell with pride when I see them together.
Hope you are all well. sending love to you all. Here's a couple of pics of my gorgeous son, will try and do birth story tonight too.

Argh! OH's dad just rang and said OH's cousin has been in labour last 2 days and has gone into hospital now to have her baby. She wasn't due till next week! I'm 4 days overdue, my baby was supposed to come first! I totally have labour jealousy!

All joking aside, I hope things go well for her and I'm looking forward to meeting her baby.

Where's my baby?! He or she is fully cooked now, I want to meet them!

Hi, I've been meaning to join this thread for ages, but keep getting side tracked... Could someone add me to the list please? My EDD is 9th June and we are having a little boy :D
I've been pretty well up til now, but have been signed off work for the last few weeks with headaches. I only have 2 weeks left at work and then will be finishing for good as I've handed my notice in. It looks like I'll be having another week off sick and then will be back at work for my final week.
Hope all you ladies are doing ok?
Mummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4
