Dipsy- I have the midwife coming to the house tomorrow morning to try and do a sweep, even though I know it's going to be unpleasant I'm hoping it'll be successful. How uncomfortable was her attempt? I think I'm getting s bit nervous about it, not because of the actual sweep but because i'll be at home! I know it sounds daft but I don't think I'd find the whole thing as undignified if it was going to happen in a clinical environment! I know, I'm an idiot!

Have ready a towel to lay on the bed and a blanket to cover you. Its really not that bad and m/w will stop if it is too uncomfortable.

I DTD the night before I went into proper labour...I think you have to have 3 kilos of pineapple, that's a whole lot!!

well I've always been very close to my mum from an early age, best mates really, and if I did p*ss her off as a kid, I'd know about it - even now I know about it.

From the things you have said on here, I feel desperately sorry for your daughter.

I second that - I may only be a first time mum ( and I have had a lot of problems with her) but I couldnt ever contemplate leaving my baby in the hospital regardless of her problems.

The poor kids bed wetting issues are probably not helped by the fact that she knows your low opinion of her.

She is probably hard work at home and school as any attention is better than no attention.

that's because you don't know her or live with her.. people always say that then soon change their tune when they've been with her a while.. I am not some evil b!tch of a mother like you appear to think.. she lies and steals and is malicious and evn hides and breaks her own stuff to get others into trouble. you have absoluteky not a clue what she is like.

We can't have anything nice because she steals or breaks it, no nice food because she eats it the other children get sweets for birthday for examples she take them she takes their ds games and wipes their saved games.. she wee'd all over the bedroom floor a few weeks ago and said it wasn't her even though I caught her in the act.. she has a serious psychological issue going on somewhere in that head of hers and it in't nice.

The ones who deserve your sympathy are her long suffering siblings who miss out on lots because of her!

And unless she can read my mind she has no idea what I think of her .. apart from when I have told her the things she has done are not acceptable.

i know he's only 2 and a half pigpen but i have days like that with DS :rotfl:

also understand your 'pleasure' at the teacher feeling the same... i had a couple in my class i could happily have throttled.

sorry vroombroom but i do think you are being very rude to PP - it is purly my opinion tho and perhaps once your own child is here you will understand we all have bad days and could easily murder our children and wish them away.... however we would never do it in reality. sometimes you just reach the end of your teather - i know i have said to DS on more then one occasion "ohh you sit there then (middle of pavement) mummy's had enough of you today and is going home!"...... difference being I don't actually do it!!! (sorry i wanted to say something ages ago but bit my tongue...)

it can be REALLY hard to get the support and referrals you need please please perserve at it as it isn't 'normal' and I am sure you do all you can but 'something' isn't clicking.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Chicky what you're describing and what pigpen has been saying in many threads and many times for that matter are totally different.

And you'd be amazed at what kids, esp. when they're very young can pick up on...

If you think she has a mental health problem then perhaps you should take her to a doctor? My psychologist can't diagnose a lot of mental health problems and told me that's the work of a psychiatrist so maybe ask your GP for a referral. You also say you're not 'some evil b!tch of a mother', in which case you should be striving to help her. By putting her down, you're likely cornering her further into her problems.
