    Good mornign ladies,

Apologies for the self-indulgant post, but I have totally just lost my plug :D

    TMI Alert

I went to the loo and there was 2 massive blobs of reddy brown ewcm. Both were easily the size of 50p pieces. Now I'm sure I'm not ovulating, so I'm guessing that's my show?????

What do you guys think? Just called my sister who said that her waters broke 30 min after her show. I hope not as I need to go to the bank and M&S today.

Ooohhhhh, don't know what to do!

    Yay that sounds like progress!

Its impossible to know how long it will take. How urgent is the bank and M&S? Do you have to go in person or could someone else go for you?

I'm off to the library soon! I've lost a book, no idea how but it's due back tomorrow. I can't go tomorrow as I'll have DS with me and I can really do without getting him in and out the back of the car. Esp as it's a 3 door.

OO Exciting Sammy, maybe just pop a pad on and quickly go to the bank? Not sure that a pad will stem the flow if your waters gush out tho? lol Im not very sure , if it was me I would ask a friend or member of family to pop out for you.Not much to report today, think I'l start on my maternity wear on friday been squishing into work uniform but Ive got midwife appointment on fri morning , so that would be a good day to start. We wear suits at work but my boss has said I can wear whatever as long as its smartish , so going down the black /grey trousers, black top and cardigan route then just add a nice coloured scarf for variety , also have a nice deep purple maternity top and a black and white striped one , so can alternate.Have swapped my heals for some flats aswell .
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Agree with Pigpen Sammy - get what you need done, as you may have a bit of time before anything will happen. Give the MAU a ring for reassurance though if you want. I started with very early contractions with DS and then went to loo an hour later and had a show, so I knew something was happening. You will be waiting for pains now! How exciting!

    Good luck sweetheart! x x x

that'll be a show Sammy.. Go to the bank... but take your phone with you and a couple of pads.. just in case.. though.. not to distress you.. it can reform.. so labour might not be NOW

I only found out this morning that it can reform. That's a bit depressing. I suppose it's a good thing really.

QUESTION: I can't understand the difference between the 'bloody show' and the 'mucous plug' - they are listed separately in books etc, but seem to be the same plus or minus the blood?

p.s. Sammy have you got a birth ball? Activity might help speed things along - not promising though!

Yeah Sammy! More progress, but like the others said just carry on doing what your doing and don't worry about it too much at the mo!
