I got 3 shower curtains from Asda at 25p each. Im hoping for a home birth but am using one under the sheet too. Then a towel on top so it's not too rustly.
The kids bed wetting pads are pretty much the same thing as the maternity pads but you can use certain pampers money off vouchers if you have them.
My waters broke with DD half on the bed, some on the carpet and the rest on way to the bathroom. Im glad I had those mats on the bed.

OH does not want any waterproofing on the bed, he says it makes it too sweaty. Yes but... our £170 mattress topper... :eek: Spose it's better than ruining the mattress itself, but still a lot more expensive than a 25p shower curtain! Let's just hope I am not laid in bed at the time!

Just spoke to the neighbour who went two weeks over - apparently they tried everything, and the one day they did nothing was the day labour began!

And... (TMI alert) clear mucus today but quite thick and stretchy!! This means that things are moving along doesn't it, but not necessarily imminent. Well I'm +7 today so it must be fairly imminent anyway.

+11 for me today........how on earth Im still alive is beyond me lol. Oh well D Day tomorrow, I'll save my labour vibes for tomorrow if thats ok because Im off out for lunch to TGI Fridays then getting my brows waxed and want to get dd some new shoes today. Then tonight I thought I might attempt to shave my legs etc.

37 weeks today - DH has taken DS to school this morning so I am still in my pjs having a lovely cuppa and a sit down with Lorraine on - this is lovely! Going to make a mince pie for tea and do some 'nesting' soon.

Need to plan a little something to do for DS' birthday next weekend when I will be almost 39 weeks - the exact time Ds arrived!! He really wants a party with his friends, but I am thinking just a little tea party with family at our house so I can leave them all there if babs decides to make an early appearance. Probably will be lazy and get a platter of sarnies from Costco and ask everyone to bring something - advantage is that with family they won't mind this!! Will make it special though, with balloons, banners and party games for him. Have promised he can have a massive party next year for all his class - gosh I feel guilty!!

Im not getting any mattress toppers, my waters never seemed to break last time so i just assume it will be the same this time lol.

My spd is horrible now, i cant even sit on the sofa without being in pain. I cant wait to get this baby out.

Morning ladies

Had a fab sleep last night, didn't wake up with hearburn for a change and hips weren't too bad! Woke up at 6.10 for wee but just decided to get up. The sun is shining so away to hang out some washing and get tea sorted.

Was wondering if anyone minded if I 'tidied' up the list? There are a few people on there who have maybe only posted once and we probably wont hear from them again!

Have only been in work an hour and have done everything I need to already - this is going to be a long day of me trying to stop myself buying pretty girly baby dresses!

Edit: I don't mind Teenie - anything to get me further up! If people are lurking they can just give someone a shout and go back on.
