  • I got a letter today cancelling my scan date and giving me an appointment for the day after. An extra day to wait to find out what is in there :( like the 3 weeks since 20 week scan isnt long enough :D
I am absolutely dying to know what we are having, its ridiculous! Cant look at clothes because I want to know what we are having so not much point looking yet anyway! Theres not a lot out there in neutral lol.

They couldn't tell us at the 20 week or 36 week scans, don't get your hopes up.

Sparkle, for wipes I've started cutting up an old fleece blanket and use a Tupperware to keep them moist. I was never keen before to use them on bottoms, but I still use a load for my two, so I've been using them for faces and hands.

I must admit though I couldn't be without huggies wipes for doing other household jobs like a quick wipe over bathroom sink, ivd even been known to spray flash on the kitchen floor and dance around the room with wipes stuck to my feet :o it saved getting the floor too wet when the kids were in and out.

    Morning all,

I managed to sleep till now yay although did keep waking up every hour or something silly.

Supermaiden - how annoying to having to wait for another day for the scan. I also have the Silvercross 3d. Haven't actually used yet but have had a play and is good. I am not sure how easy it would be for buses as is quite bulky.

I think Pigpen is expecting, have seen her on the 12 week thread whilst lurking haha.

Need to think of something to do today hmmm.

I am in the same boat, we have a Mamas & Papas pram we got from Freecycle, forget the name of it right now, but I am so tempted to get a new one, as this one needs a replacement hood and seems more suitable from around 2-3 onwards, the ones I see people using in town have the baby area higher up. I need it to be ok for a small boot, not heavy, and also easily foldable for the bus, so maybe the Sola could be the one but only from 6 months onwards according to the Q&A... Plus the Sola is 10kg, whereas I was hoping for around 7-8... so many things to consider eh!

Have you both checked out the zoom??

I can't wait to use mine and reviews are fab

Pigpen, we had the same issue with finding a twin. I hated most of them and DH hated the rest.
We were going to just use two singles but we found someone selling a side by side stroller for £30 so we picked it up yesterday :)

Lily will be 14 months when the boy arrives :)

Which reminds me, Lily is 1 in six days!

Got a few more bits for bubs - one of the biggies - the car seat and base :D We went for the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix in Black Jacquard and the base to fit in the car. Got £15 off voucher, so basically paid for the 4 packs of reduced nappies I got :T

Feel happier now we are more sorted. Just need a house now!
