I can sympathise with this Georgina coz I have a miserable face at rest too.Ha ha! Was reading this thread thinking the same! Strangers have said to me in the street 'cheer up Love, it'll never happen'! I put it down to concentration!
Sometimes peeps have said similar things to me but not for a good while and I put that down to the fact that my face probably looks even scarier and puts people off in case they think they will get a mouthful  :rotfl:You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs

When peeps have told you that you're a biatch how do they say it?I like this thread! I love that people love this thread
I really didn't know if it would fall flat on it's face or not so I'm really glad it hasn't
I am generally a positive person, my Hubby is not! Which can be quite a pain sometimes but I think in someways we balance each other out.
I can sympathise with this too - my OH is definitely a glass half empty type of person and I'm the opposite. I think we balance each other out too but it can be a right pain in the backside as well
I have a face that always looks miserable!
I have been told on many occasions that I look like a B*tch and that my personality does not match my face!! charming!
....not really sure how to turn that in to a positive!
Is it something they say when they get to know the real you or do they say it in a dismissive judgemntal way?You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs

I'm not a Cancerian but a Libran - maybe I've got some planet rising (or summat like that) in my birth chart so I have a strong Cancerian influence - who knows ??? People often say to me "you never have any stress or drama" and I think thats because I choose not to complicate my life by making a big fuss out of little misfortunes. Your positive outlook will bring you lots of happiness and good fortune. Have you heard of the law of attraction? Judging by your post it might be something of interest and rewarding for you.
I have heard of it but never done anything about it coz I'm very disorganised
:o:o but I will investigate further
Also, I have one of those faces which don't hide anything. Are you a cancerian by any chance? I have heard this is quite a common trait for cancerians but I don't know if theres much truth behind it

Another +ve I've thought of since is the fact that although I was diagnosed with PND (post natal depression) 2 weeks after my youngest was born 6 years ago. It has meant that I've been at home during my kids' early years

There are alot of things during the last 6yrs that I feel guilty about or wish I could change but I think all parents think those things to some degree or other but the basic fact I've been at home has been a +ve thing in the main
Now I think I'll give other peeps a chance to say summat

This is pretty much how I am... everything works out good in the end. No matter how bad the world may seem at the minute, the bright side is going to creep up on you any day now, usually when you least expect it

It's strange... I've had (and still occasionally have) bouts of depression including feelings of suicide, but I know deep down that I will be ok. Kinda like the feeling when you're a child and you are invincible, if you know what I mean?::: Total Paid Since LBM (27/05/10): £4639.85 Official Debt Gone!! :T ::::AThat money talks, I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"~ VSP2011: #104 ~

I'm not a Libran according to this link but I'm definitely not a Cancerian either - the signs are too far away from each other in the Zodiac

Yeah, I saw this and apparently I am no longer a Virgo, but have spontaneously become a Leo... I always knew I was a star :rotfl:::: Total Paid Since LBM (27/05/10): £4639.85 Official Debt Gone!! :T ::::AThat money talks, I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"~ VSP2011: #104 ~

I don't think anything happens for 'a reason', but i do think on looking back that everything turns out for the best in the long run. Even if all seems dismal and utterly awful, then later on, years maybe, when you look back, everything turns out OK after all.0

Aswel as having a very honest face (and personality!) I also have a 'b*tch face' and a 'moody face'. I actually don't get the "cheer up comments' so much anymore, I think my !!!!! face has over-riden it! I think when people make comments like "you like miserable" and "cheer up" their not designed to make you feel better they are designed to !!!! you off, if I thought someone didn't seem happy I wouldn't go to them and say "you look miserable" because it's going to make them feel worse. I have in the past responded to these sorts of comments with "nothings wrong, this is just my face" in a vicious tone that usually puts them in their place!
People often say "when you first saw you I thought you would be a total b*tch but actually your really nice!" I think it's mainly down to me carrying myself in a very confidant manner, and often I don't mind looking like a b*tch because otherwise I feel like i look shy or soft and people think they can take advantage.
