Haven't have so much as a sniff of an accident, close call or serious since the late 90's.
I actually consider myself to be quite a defensive driver as it is. Anything more would just be silly.
Actually, all the near misses have been in Hounslow, including the accident (except roundabout woman from earlier this week). In fact, the guy who crashed into the back of my car has in fact (since the accident) tailgated me on two or three other occasions including on the road where the accident happened last time. I know, because i remember the number plate and the car belongs to the owner of a takeaway. The car looks like it has been in several accidents (doors dented, bumper and bonnet screwed)
I think i just tend to be a bit unlucky in finding really bad drivers.0 -
I think you'll find that most folk on this forum, unless they live in the outer Hebrides or something, encounter just as many* bad drivers as you do. Those that don't are possibly the bad drivers in question XD
You'll get used to it as you spend more time on the road. Either that or you'll become one of them, but it sounds like you actually give a damn so I think you'll do ok.
*may have to adjust for region. I find that the average driving quality is roughly proportional to your distance from London0 -
Depends how you define "public space" A shopping centre/railway station open the the public is private property and can say no photography if they like.0
-
No they can't say no on on railway stations as there are clear guidelines set out for photographers (unless your taking pics of the cctv systems ect).

All of which confirms that they can say 'no' if they want to. And it confirms that they only have a 'yes' policy to certain people in certain situations.0

You can photograph anything from a "public space", even private land can be photographed if your standing on public land when you do so.
In the case of car camera's, it's very simple as public space would count as ANY road maintained by the local council which is funded via your council tax
Oh and any smartybollox who says "it's funded by road tax", is going to get shot down in flames, by lots and lots of people (including Sir Winston Churchill himself)“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Taxi drivers, bus drivers and 40-everywhere old people are pretty much a constant everywhere you go. Boy racers too.0

Taxi drives sometimes lose their way from the racetrack, but when they have a passenger, it's a whole different story!0
