Notice it is not on Quaffers Offers which is an offshoot of this site. (https://www.quaffersoffers.co.uk) No Lidl wines are shown but I have e-mailed Mel and asked him to look into it.

I bought an Australian Shiraz-Cabernet for £2.99 and a Chilean Viajero Cabernet Sauvignon for £ 2.95 at Lidl last week. They're so good, I'm going back to get a dozen bottles of each!

Anyone Tried a bottle yet ? (the Barolo).

Bought 3 bottles from the Cheltenham branch but undecided as to whether to try one or keep them for a couple years.

WE don't have a Lidl branch near us, but there is one near my son's workplace, so thought I would be clever and get him to be the delivery man so to speak. I sent him an e-mail asking him to get 3 botttles of Barolo and 3 each of the Shiraz and Cab Sauv. He phoned back to say that the Branch at Slough only ever had 1 check-out open, they only take cash or debit cards and there is always a huge queue of dodgy looking shoppers! I had to tell him to forget it, but what is your experience of shopping at Lidl ??
PS. My son only uses credit cards and only ever has a couple of quid in cash. The Barolo was still on sale, loads of it! A few of the Cab Sauv. but no sign of any shiraz.
