Compare last year's taxes to this years and therein is part of the answer.
BTW since last year AA and BA have more code share flights and BA have more flights from Gatwick, so have a good seach on both of their websites.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
what prices are you getting?

Oasis,
you are probably around the right prices there.
Just think though, like post 2# mentions, lots of increases in tax, fuel prices etc etc etc........

BA fly from LGW-TamPA and has a BA flight number such as BA1234, it is a BA aircraft, with a codeshare the flight might also have a flight number such as AA5678.
Similar happens in the USA, AA might fly from Dallas to Tampa and has a flight number such as AA1234, it is an AA aircraft, with a codeshare the flight might also have a flight number such as BA5678.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

BTW = By The Way

A lot of carriers have boosted their prices. I've been looking at flights to Denver for the end of May. I should have booked at Christmas as they have gone up by £150 since.
However, I am certain they will come down. The same will happen for your flights.0 -

If you think £100 in a year is bad check this out.
I booked Heathrow to Chicago return for 09/09/2011 to 23/09/2011 on Monday 24 Jan and checked the prices on Friday 28 Jan and they had gone from £420.63 to £552.33 a whopping increase of £131.70 IN 5 DAYS.:eek:
I have to say when I seen the price increase I felt very smug and very MSE:D0
