Nuisance calls - does this old trick still work?

Considering the amount of time wasted by thousands of these overseas scam calls every day, it would be nice if the provision of foreign aid were to include a condition that the government concerned crack down on these people."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0

Try asking them what they are wearing and telling them how nice they sound, do they have a boy/girlfriend, they usually hang up before I get to the moany noises. Nowone has lasted more than 90 seconds to date and the record for them terminating the call is 9 seconds.
The wife and I are quite competitive about it and look forward to these calls now.
Haha! I quite enjoy this too, especially enjoy the opportunity for some on the cuff mental exercise thinking of a good one whilst answering.
Yesterday I answered 'hello this is the Google Server Farm, administrator Smith speaking' after being told I had a problem with my computer I asked 'which one, we have 80,000 can you give me its IP address?' I reckon it was 11 seconds. :rotfl:0 -

Had two recently, one wanted to know why I wanted his company's name and rang off when I said I don't give out info to unknown callers. My answer would have to be....hold on, I will just look out the window......................yes we have sky,....
then got on to discribe if blue/white or grey clouds etc0 -
And your reason for resurfacing an 18 month old thread is ..... ?0
