Oh no, surely they can't change the T&C's or can they? Got another card to use, but only want another top, they are just too expensive otherwise

I'm none too happy - I chose a pair of jeans (£75) and a top (£35) and at the till was told tops were not allowed with the card. Despite the list of exclusions on the Red card it does not include 'tops'. I was told they had received an email that tops were not included....

I might return and choose a more expensive top and see if they decline that......

    The jeans are fab though.

OMG , how can they change their T & C's when they have already printed the T & C's on the gift card, is that legal ?, when i called Hobb's monday after my bad experience last friday, the very nice lady i spoke too said they cannot change their T & C's now, i can't help but wonder if Hobb's really know what they are doing, seem's they opened a big can of worm's for themselves with this offer, shame as id wanted to spend my card's on a few of the more expensive top's..........all this chopping & changing cannot be doing Hobb's good as so many potential new customer's are being put of from ever going into one of their shop's again ! maybe if they read this thread they would learn a thing of two about what customer's are feeling :(

Just my luck, went into the one in Exeter yesterday but had kiddies with me so didnt really see anything, and now I'm reading that I cant use them on tops anyway. Gutted. I do occasionally buy bits in Hobbs and the SA know me, but will definately not be going back there if they dont let me use the card on a top.

I used one on a top in Solihul today - at about 12.30pm. I didn't see any of the camisoles in there. Perhaps the staff hadn't read the memo?
