I don't want to sound like a moaner but what feedback would you leave

Well for a start, Ebay say you can add a "reasonable amount" for covering additional costs.
.
Doesn't matter what Ebay say. If the buyers give you low DRS's, you will lose your TRS status. Ebay agree I am well within their perameters, but 4 low DSRs and I have lost my TRS and am skating on thin ice. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I have had sellers in the past charge a certain amount for second class postage but when the item turns up they have sent it first class and it is still a bit cheaper what i paid for the p+p and i was happy with that. Now i don't agree where a seller adds extra on postage to cover them taking the item to the post office, if a seller wants extra for petrol or parking then put it on the starting price. Now i have checked the sellers feedback and he has sold a few of the items i bought and he was charging £5 p+p, so as he was still making money charging £5 i guess he thought that wasn't enough and added 75p. My moan is about p+p but the thing i hate most is where he had marked the item as dispatched and not posted it until 3 days later.if you drive to the post office, your car uses no fuel either.
In my case if the postage of an item is £10, it costs me another £2.40 in associated costs. But if I charge £12.50 people like the OP whinge and whine because the Royal Mail label says £10.0 -
What really annoys me as a buyer is people who list items as free p&p and then add this in the item listing. I was told by one seller that this was e-bay's fault as items in this category could only be listed as free p&p.
I did e-mail back asking why she had only added this as an addition to her listing and hadn't included it in the listing price but never got a reply.
As a buyer you either go along with p&p given or chose not to buy.0 -

If you buy something that is marked free p and p seller cannot add more. If you pay by paypal and the seller refunds just walk away from the transaction as they cannot then do an nPB on you .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Let me tell you, buyers are just as guilty at times of ruining the system of ebay, i sold an item of clothing through a buy- it- now, they then questioned the size before paying, they then said it wouldnt do, refused to pay, and i let it go and cancelled the sale, they then left me neutral feedback, how can they, when i didnt evem sell them anything? After questioning ebay the protection is only for the buyers and i was told this by them, i amuble to get his feedback removed. How is that for fairness, so spare a thought for us sellers we are not all bad.0

You did sell something though and then you 'mutually' agreed not to go ahead. If you had done a full NPB and buyer had not paid they could not have left you feedback at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
