Going well, still no bought lunches. Last night for tea I made a huge pasta bake and overdid it on the pasta (I forget how much it swells up). So me and hubby have leftovers for lunch. Its chicken and bacon pasta bake with broccoli, peppers, onion and tomatoes mmmmmmmmmmmm. I may add some of my magic chilli flakes from the cupboard at work!0

Hi everyone,
Still on no lunches and if it wasn't for reporting back here I def would have had more than that! Yesterday I had some lentil and red pepper soup and finishing off tomorrow and today I had some goats cheese, sun dried tomato and salad wraps made from 2 wraps left over from the enchiladas I made last night. Thurs will be Pret lunch but it's free as we are having a training day!! Yay.Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -
I'm late on the thread as ever, but aiming for 0 bought lunches, unless I can claim it back on expenses.
A fail here, I'm afraid. I guessed I was probably being a bit optimistic in aiming for 0, but didn't want to give myself the excuse of "well one or two won't matter as long as I'm within my target."
I was doing ever so well, but then stupidly left my sandwiches in the fridge yesterday. I did try to go without any lunch at all, but was starving by around 1.30 in the afternoon so nipped out and spent £1 on a cheese sarnie from M&S.
I suppose only spending £1 in a month (and only £2 so far this year) isn't really something to beat myself up about, but I'm still cross about it. OH ate the sandwiches for lunch anyway, so at least they didn't go to waste.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -

Eleanor your lunches always sound so nice....can I come and work with you!!!
Today I have some toast and leftover tomatoes & cucumber from last night's salad at teatime and a wedge of feta...kind of greek salad. Out for a birthday meal tonight (not mine)so i'll be drinking loads of water with my meal and filling up on bread!0 -
My lunches are always so boring compared to you lot! Yesterday I had leftover pasta bake, and today I had pork slices with garlic cheese sandwiches.
Currently up to 15/16 and only 3 more lunches to go
