"47kg in north Cambridgeshire @ £43,"
And where would that be Taxsaver?
I'm not far from the North Cambs border and that price would make the trip worthwhile.0 -

Ayrshire Scotland, we are currently paying £48.36 for a 47kg cylinder, price has increased twice since October, there is no mains gas in our hamlet so we don't have much choice!! A cylinder lasts about 7 days in this very cold spell which seems to be going on forever, we don't have the heating on all the time but we have to be warm! Interesting to hear how others are managing and the different costs around tthe country.0

Yes it's worrying that prices vary so much. I think they charge what they think they can get away with. I think the supply of LPG both bottled and bulk is ripe for an investigation by the relevant government agency responsible for ensuring true free market competition occurs (which I don't think it does at present.) I think it's time for a word with the CMA to see what they make of it.0 -

I reported this issue several years ago when the price in Northern Ireland was more than 50% more expensive than the mainland. A price differential that could noway be explained by transportation! They sent me a nice f*** off letter, and I haven't been bothered to do anything since. Maybe you'll have more luck?0 -

Thanks for alerting me to this. I did a search for LPG on the CMA website for any documents referring to LPG - absolutely nothing found!0 -
just paid £130 odd for 2 bottles here in Gloucester, from Flogas, disgusting price but what do you do, need it. Only lived here a year so new to the area and don't know any other places to get it. Have already used 4 since 17th December because of the weather. No wonder the elderly go cold at these prices, no alternative in my village though.:(0
