Good luck for tomorrow Roshy!!mineallmine wrote: »A throw away:
Max Factor liquid eyeshadow (in pinky frosty colour) - wiba no. Nothing exciting, think I got it on a 3 for 2 offer. I think I was trying to find a Benefit alternative for that sheen product. By the time I spend, waste, money on this - I may as well buy the right bl&&dy thing to begin with. Lesson learnt.
I'm really struggling with using a Max Factor foundation - I just look ill. It's so annoying - I can see how I used it and gave up immediately. But feel so bad binning it.
And those ruddy MUA bronzers, don't even talk to me about them, I hate them. I saw myself today and I looked like a ruddy (right word) clown.
But no ins - hurrah.
Bin them...seriously, life is too short to be using products that simply don't suit you - throw them out and chalk it up to experience. All different then :rotfl:
I think I'm gonna go with the 'actual cash out of my pocket' amount. AC points I've already 'paid for' in a sense and gift cards/vouchers are .....gifts
<snip>
Does look as though there are a lot of different takes on the subject! I agree wholeheartedly about gift cards etc - if it was given as a gift, then any "IN's" off the back of it should be considered as such. My reason for considering AC points as effectively cash is that as some on here will remember I used the two Boots Shopping evenings prior to christmas to buy a mix of christmas presents and a stock of routine products which I knew I would use over the year - the theory being that I spent £50 per visit, but got back 1200 points, but the flip side of this was that my AC points had to be used for further essentials over the year as and when needed. So far the majority of them are earmarked for for a couple of Clinique items when the bonus time starts.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

One Mega UU to report
My Splutter's Graveyard is finally empty :j:j
For those that missed it I emptied all my splutterers into one big bottle before I started the challenge and have been adding to it over the last couple of weeks. It is finally empty :T:T:T Moving on to the half-full large bottle of Snow Fairy - glitter here I come :rotfl:
Speaking of empty bottles - has anyone used the Origins Recycling Programme - where you get samples for giving them your empty cosmetic/toiletries bottles to recycle? Did the SA know what you were talking about? (What samples did you get?:p) I have a small collection now but don't want to haul them into town to be completely embarassed when the SA hasn't been informed
Forgot about a NPI earlier. I was in Superdrug looking for Men's Hair Dye (couldn't find it - do they do it?) and noticed under the Batiste Brit Dry Shampoo they still had a sign for the previous offer. My friend took 3 up to the counter and they told him the offer was finished and he told them about the sign - off pops the SA to check and comes back and rang them through at £3.49 for 3 instead of £6.39. :T I noticed that he hadn't removed the sign and was very tempted to do it myself - but lifted my head (and my Boots bag) high and walked away :A
Good Luck for tomorrow Roshy - all bits are crossed

There's a particularly evil-smelling BS satsuma body polish sitting prominently on my bathroom window ledge. (Can you tell I'm not so keen on"fruity"?!) There's about a quarter left, which I will use on my hands and decolette, although the scrubby bits are fairly thinly dispersed so it doesn't seem very effective. Aim to use it up over the weekend.
In, 2 x Nails Inc polishes via the Diet Coke offer. Will add the 4 bottles of Coke to stock at work and sell for £1.15 each, so the polishes actually cost 12p for 2 (excluding lost profit :rotfl:) Only the blue and the nude ones left. Are they nice? The shades actually look quite dull.0 -
Hello can I join in please *waves* :-)
I have loads of stuff and am sure I won't need to buy in Feb! I was doing it on my own in Jan but had a little slip up in the Boots sale and bought a Gok - Gorgeous set for £11.00 something reduced from £45! How can a girl resist....?!
I will aim to do an inventory over the weekend to help set me on the straight and narrow. I have been pretty good anyway over the past few months but still have loads in stock and the occasional lapse...
Look forward to chatting x'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'0 -
Mineallmine - chuck out the mua bronzers!Hi everyone
I threw out the Soap and Glory Girligo Moisturizing Spray I had - I love S&G but this was awful - Didn't feel it moisturized my skin at all.
I have started the Clinique body butter instead!!:D

I don't like Girligo either! Nasty stuff! Going to try and sell my minis of it on ebay, I want to save up for some Benefit Get Even powder so should give me an incentive to get listing!hi everyone so much to catch up on.
After doing my stash list yesterday I am trying to use up more than ever! Don't know how I would put a pic up though of my stash - advice please?
Anyway, one more UU- Decleor Aroma Night Iris Balm 15ml -although it is small it has lasted me ages and I only use a tiny amont once a week WIBA - Yes and have one in my stash although I am going to open the neroli version next. It makes a massive difference to my skin and can see an improvement in my skin.:T

>>>>>>>>>>>>sneaking in............as it should be quiet now............cos............I've been a bit naughty
Its the Avon book luring me in again - Ive ordered 3 big bottles of shower gels (3 for 5.00) perfume rollette (1.50) and a body spray (2.00)
In my defence, my girls use the shower gels too and I checked 'the stash' and decided that I really dont need any more handcream or body sprays so crossed them off my order.
But then I gave into temptation and added one body spray back cos its a new scent and the tester in the book smells gorgeous
Had a throw-out! When I checked the stash I discovered an exploded tube of Aapri facial scrub  Luckily it hadnt made too much of a mess.
Was going to get rid of a bottle of Avon's Far Away Fantasy. Now I love Far Away, but this one is just way too strong and overpowering. Thought I'd send it to the charity shop, but noticed on ebay its on sale for a ridiculous price, so I'm watching to see if any sells. :cool:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Hi Pudsey! I'm awake too! Don't worry your secret is safe with me!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0

sarah*a, still awake? I hope you manage to drop off soon. Have you tried with lavendar and all that jazz to get you off?
@ Pudsey. I got an avon perfume roller ball thingy for Christmas. It's gone straight into the charity bag. Hateful thing (not that I'm ungrateful you understand)!
I'm on my break. I'm having a hideous night so will sleep well I hope (after I've done the cupboard under the sink in the morning

Yep - still awake
Have tried all the usual - hot milk, warm bath, dark quiet room, s*xnothing works. My mum - bless her - is sending me some smelly lavender heat pads that you put on your bedside table and thats supposed to help.
It's the pain more than anything - can't get comfortable and get chest pain and restless legs when I lie down
The dog's restless as well tonight so we've been entertaining each other:D
