Hi -Can I join in again please .I try every month and always succumb to temptation , usually at boots and superdrug.I am thinking of having a big clearout this week and will sort out all my makeup items this week to list.
2 INS -Lee stafford overnight treatment and big hair powder 2 4£8 -I wanted to try these for a while now and this offer saved me £8.50 so too good to miss.
Ysl elle perfume set-Valentines pressy from hubby -The full size perfume is fine but the set was cellophane wrapped from debenhams and included a gwp makeup bag and a small box which should have 50ml of bodylotion and a mini perfume in it too but the box is empty? Hubby wants me too take it back to ask why they wrapped an empty box.Love can tame the wildest0 -

Wicked, they never have that one at my local Boots or Superdrug. I obviously don't spend enough time online for this stuff! My mum will be overjoyed too - she used to love it, we bought it birthdays, Christmas, Mothers Day etc.... she's never bought her own for as long as I can remember, but the last few years have been other Olay creams, as we couldn't find it locally.
Thanks!
One splutter for me - the Olay sample. Nearly got all of it, but it'll probably go this evening. Am hoping to get a body scrub finished tonight as well.
Happy Thursday everyone xSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Morning:) Couple of uu, couple of outs and an in for me.
uu crabtree & evelyn la source bath fizzer (my name for it not theirs) wiba? no, I absolutely adore this range but like my bath to have bubbles, it did smell great and softened the water though. Also uu a free sample of neutogena body lotion, wnba, many more things out there which moisturise as well and are nicer to use.
out - ponds cold cream cleanser, gave up on this, i find the texture horrible, doesn't glide across the face like other cleansers and I'm sure my skin looked worse for it. Have another unopened one which I'm going to exchange for something I will use.
in - the 7ml olay sample.
One of the reasons I have so much stuff is I expect amazing results the first time i use something, when it doesn't do that I buy something else. Doing this challenge I am using my stuff religiously every day and my skin looks better than it has in years, before I would use a face wipe and no moisturiser and my skin looked awful but the cupboards were groaning with gorgeous products. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Morning all well done everyone on staying on challenge...mainly :T :rotfl:
I moved on to a new scrub last night as haven't had one out in ages  so S&G flake away is sitting proud as punch on the side of the bath, with a pair of exfoliating body mitt/gloves and body wash - i was a woman on a mission last night :rotfl: could start to notice a fake tan build up where I haven't been good with the moisturisingso it was all scrubbed off, moisturised and another lot put on which I'm glad to say is perfectly even :A
I have some splutterers (kind of) to announce...
1x Boots hair mask/treatment thing I inherited from my sisters when they left for uni in September - it was half full then and has lasted this long  i've been trying to use it at least once a week now so hair is silky smooth and very conditioned. Should be used up in the next 3 goes.
1x Boots natural collection mango and papaya (?) bubble bath type thing - love the smell and the bubbles but it's been sitting there for ages so am generously using it up as I want to get started on my stash rather than the remnants of the bathroom :rotfl:
I sold some items on eBay... 1x S&G breakfast scrub - I liked the smell but thought it would be a bit sickly after a while. 1x S&G Glad Hair Day - I have tonnes still to UU before my travels so thought it deserved a new home 1x Urban Retreat base & blusher - have 2x more of these in stash and I think this shade (medium) was very dark...
I have some more listed that are selling so when they sell I'll update
have a good day ladies xx0 -

I'm the exact same and recently decided to just start using everything in those 'perfect sets' without worrying. So I had a day where I got everything out of an S&G set and placed it in the bathroom / bedroom etc. where I'd use it and I'm glad I did. Really impressed with a couple of the products and slowing getting my stash down too :TAnother UU today DKNY BE DELICIOUS Body Lotion- would not normally buy perfumed body lotions but this came as part of a gift set and was lovely wiba YES (obv not until i have uu all my other lotions)
Ooo excited as I still have this in my stash to use!

I've always been a bit suspicious of gift sets - I consider them a rip-off, generally. I give my daughter full sizes of all her toiletry gifts and always put them in a re-usable bag. Not a paper gift bag or a plastic bag but usually a jute or cotton shopper. I posted about this on another thread around Christmas time and it seemed to go down well.
Of course, I am a bit of a bag hound, not handbags, but nice shoppers. My son keeps putting them in the outhouse where I can't get to them easily. Thus I have to buy more.
Fairtrade Fortnight is coming up at the end of the month and Tesco do a very nice Fairtrade cotton shopper with soft padded handles. They also did a lovely Orla Kiely bag in autumny colours around Christmas. Wasn't Fairtrade though.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Hope everyone's doing well!
Have a few ins to report - went to Superdrug to pick up two Simple moisturiser minis (which I DID need, one for my travel bag and one to leave at home when I move) and also got a half-price Nivea travel set, only a couple of quid and it included lip balm, Nivea Creme, face wipes and deodorant (all minis which I will use!)
Also, one of my friends got me a 'survival kit' for moving to London, including ibuprofen and plasters (she knows me so well!) as well as a Montagne Junesse (sp?) face mask and some foot scrub & moisturiser sachets!
I'm going down this afternoon with a packed suitcase including several toiletries of course!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Just a quick question- when you cut something open, what do you use? I use a stanley knife, but I stabbed myself in the leg (my word, IT HURT!) nothing major, no arteries severed, but still if I can avoid it0
