Cue reply along the lines of..'I've tried poking it with a pork sausage I borrowed from my neighbour but all it has done is leave a greasy mark. Do you think I will be able to eat the sausage?'
I don't think the neighbour will be too pleased at what state their pork sausage will be in when they get it back.

When we had a leaky bath we put a large flat dish under there initially as a temporary "cure" - perhaps something like a litter tray! Mind you, it's been a long time since we had a proper bath panel on it so access was quite easy (looooooooong story). What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

If I could prove to you I am not a troll, I would.Thread condensed:
All Bundance' threads follow the same pattern, it helps noone, irrespective of illness. Help is indeed necessary, just not the sort a forum can offer.
Still think it's a troll though.
I so suffer bad anxiety, and am trying my best to grab any help that is available.
I come on here to ask practical questions about matters in my flat, which I have no knowledge of.
People on here are helpful.
I did try putting water in the bath, but after taking the side panel off, and looking underneath the bath where the faulty area would be, I discovered that the faulty area is covered by the stands in which the bath sits on, so I could not see it.and Bundance, have you actually tried filling the bath with water to see if it leaks, as has been suggested more than once, or do you just intend wasting everyones time?
RashkaSpeak for yourself, I'm quite happy to make suggestions that may help the OP solve their dilemma, or even just reassure if that's what they need. We can't all be as perfect as you.
I really appreciate this.Have you tried poking something down the 'hole' to see if it is a real hole? And shine a torch under the bath. You'll soon see if it's wet down there.
My neighbour looked at it and said it is not a hole.
Thank you all, and sorry to have caused bad feeling amongst mse members.0 -

Rrrigght... So fill it with water, leave it for two days, if youve got an empty bath and soaked flat after two days, youve a leak. If not, you haven't...
No need to post on the subject again, really...0
