    Top Up TV is the best option but there's no HD (if that is a priority for you) and they only have 1 & 2.

    If you want to keep your broadband and phone with Virgin, just get them to down grade you to the M+ TV package. You'll pay a bit more for Sky Sports but the cost of the TV part will go down considerably. It'll be cheaper than swapping to Sky in the long run.

    Sky's offering is the 5 Sky Sports channels not just the 2 on TopUpTV or BT Vision. It depends what sports you want to watch - not all the football is on Sports 1 and 2 - for instance Champions League and EUFA matches are very often on Sports 4. Most EPL is on Sports 1 or 2 but not all.

    If you got a internet connection you can always try the peer to peer streaming sites which have the footy on them or take the european satelite route and get a foreign sat card to watch the footy.
