Reporting NSD number 4. Been to work, now I'm home and getting geared up for cooking dinner.
I'm off for the next couple of days - tomorrow is shopping, Weds is MOT day so I'm especting big spends there!
Well done so far everyone, seems to be going well0 -

Only 2 measly NSDs to report so far - its almost feeling like that 'f' word already this month.....
Tixy - it's only the 7th today, there is no such thing as a measly NSD total and don't even think of using the 'f' word on this forum
You're doing really well, this isn't a race as we're all doing the challenge for different reasons and with our own rules to suit. Chin up - you're doing fab :T
Well I can decare NSD #3 for me please - not one moth let out of my purse today :j that makes 2 in a row. Hopefully another tomorrow.
THE dress I ordered from eB*y arrived today - it's very pretty and does fit, but fits well if you know what I mean? It's not over streatched but is snug, and I'm not sure if at my age (grand old age of 31) it might be a little short :undecided (though my old pins aren't too bad) - it's about 2-3" above the knee. I'm only 5' 5" (at a push) and about a size 6-8 so it's not like it's indecent on me but I wish I could try the larger size...So I think I need a second opinion of my friend or OH and then, MIGHT see if I can get the larger size on e*ay and sell the one I decide not to keep - which is a faff, but not really overall more than what I would have spent in store (and really not too much for a dress - which I could also wear if we have a work's do) ....oh what to do.....

Another not a NSD day today, my mum mentioned she was going to Mr T's so I asked her to get me a 6 pack of creme eggs. They're £1.50 at the moment, a lot cheaper than 60p each at work!Thank you competition posters!

Well, today was a spend day, but some of it was on seeds and compost which hopefully will materialise into various herbs and salad plants later this year. Plus a massive crop of lavender to plant here there and everywhere to encourage the bees. Fingers crossed it all turns out successfully! Also ordered champers for my dad and stepmum, who have their silver wedding anniversary coming up soon. On the moneysaving side, I finally got off my arris (or rather, sat on it at the computer) and switched energy suppliers, which should show a little in the way of savings. Seeing as I am on a pay freeze, and prices still keep going up and up, every little helps!
Got some reduced price Chow Mein sauce and prawn crackers today (post- Chinese New Year reductions) and did chicken chow mein for dinner, using up chicken fillets from freezer and serving with mini spring rolls from freezer and a pack of savoury rice from the cupboard. Now packets of savoury rice are the sort of thing I would not normally give cupboard room to, but it was left over from the Christmas hamper and just squealing at me "eat me, eat me!" every time I opened the cupboard. It tasted not quite as filthy as I expected because I added extra seasoning and stirred in fried egg to make egg fried rice. Now there's just the tinned ham to get rid of....yuk! OH likes it but I don't, so I keep putting off using it. Give me real ham on the bone any day!
So, hopefully tomorrow will be NSD number 2...watch this space......One life - your life - live it!0 -
I managed to claw back an NSD today after missing a planned one over the weekend
This week is going to be a bad one as I'm at college rather than work Mon-Wed and then Sat + Sun. There's no fridge or microwave etc so difficult to take lunch with me, so I've planned spend days. However, took sandwiches with me today to see how they'd be and in the warmth they went horrible but I still ate them so that's No. 5 for me.0
