Tixy - it's only the 7th today, there is no such thing as a measly NSD total and don't even think of using the 'f' word on this forum :naughty:
You're doing really well, this isn't a race as we're all doing the challenge for different reasons and with our own rules to suit. Chin up - you're doing fab :T

    Well said kerri:T

Tixy, none of that defeatist talk on here, you're doing great with 2 NSDs so far, keep going, you'll get there:j:j:j:j

BDINI - glad you got the wallpaper you liked even though it was expensive. Sometimes you just need to indulge yourself and I think you are allowed since you have saved yourself loads in other areas. If you love it, then have it and enjoy it! Anyway, its a fraction of the cost of the wallpaper on DIYSOS last night - £250 a roll:eek: ( But is WAS lovely;))
    Have a lovely day everyone:)

moneypenny2k - you're right I could do with cutting back on the diet coke, however I have just given up (except one a month!) buying magazines, so one thing at a time! Doing this is hard enough, I never thought magazines could be an addiction, but it feels like giving up smoking all over again!

I had a severe addiction to mags too - I used to buy about 3-4 monthly mags and usually 1 or 2 weekly ones. Rather than give up completely, I chosed a couple I REALLY liked and got subscriptions. That way, I feed my "habit" but it's cheaper and I dont have to go into the shop and be tempted by goodies;) HTH

No NSD today, but that is only because I got an amazing bargain! My charity shop absolute-fantasy-dream came true... a pair of jeans, my favourite (overly expensive and totally non-MSE) brand, the cut I wear, size I wanted, and barely worn (look brand new actually) for the princely sum of £6!! So pleased!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

(Especially as I used to save up for the right jeans to be heavily reduced to £50ish in the sales) (and my last pair are close to falling apart!) :D

OMG - thats terrific- I love hearing about other folk's bargains/finds!
Well done you! I'm excited for you:rotfl:

Yes! It was a great prog, that one! I actually love L-L-B, I would love a bedroom like that!;)

promised, here's a link to my work on Elegant Lady (just for you Spoon!).

    Great stuff!

    Good morning folks!
Well yesterday didnt turn out the way I planned. Just as I was getting ready for work, I spotted blood in my cat's tray. That is never a good sign, so I called in a day's hols and took him to the vet.
He has a bladder infection ( again) so antibiotic/ steroid jab for him. The good news is that the treatment counts as a recurring illness so I will get the money back from insurance with no excess. He is also on specialised food whic as it's prescribed I will be able to claim on an ongoing basis.
I feel very exausted though and cant wait for my days off. Too much been going on lately and I can feel myself getting a bit "het up".
Deep breath and into the shower for ablutions - that'll sort me out!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Thanks Keiss, it's lovely. That's very fine cross stitch, not surprised your eyes get tired looking at it, but some lovely work there.

Look forward to seeing updates as it progresses.

Good luck with both cars this week and hope your bargainicious hair cut works out well.
