  • NSD no. 2 for me today!

Classic lazy/house bound Sunday for me - already cleaned the car within an inch of it's life (well it only happens twice a year so I try to do a really good job when it happens!), then and chat with my BFF and some stuff to post on eB@y this afternoon.

Took a while to work out how much I'd declared... got my fuzzy brain sorted now and would like to proclaim yesterday as NSD 3/12.

I came so close... Went up to the Halfords at one of the shopping centres on the outskirts of town to have my new car radio fitted (SO exciting! And all prepaid) and had half an hour to kill while they did it. So meandered into the large Boots next door, spotted a sale rack and picked up and put down bits, picked up an umbrella for £2, went for a prolonged amble around the shop, picked up other bits on my way, looked at new eyeshadow colours and a new type of cleanser... got myself to near the till queue and then looked at what I had and thought "I don't actually need any of this, and it will ruin my No Spend Day", and put it all back! Apart from anything else, umbrellas are pointless here as if its raining it'll be blowing a gale too, so umbrellas usually last under 5 minutes!

However, today I spent £4.91 on some stamps and a card for my aunt and uncle, who have just had a baby girl. New cousin, always exciting!! :D

Afternoon all. Had a lovely evening out with my friend last night - it was one of those evenings where I have no idea where the time went. The waitress in the restaurant had to come back three times because we were so busy talking we hadn't even looked at food. I told OH I'd prob be home at 10.30 and before I realised it, it was 11.30 and I hadn't even called the taxi  Anyway, bit too much wine :o but a really really nice time.

Declaring today as a NSD, did have to open my purse to lend OH some £ to go out and watch the fitba, but he'll pay that back, and I don't intend to purchase anything.

so Spoony - NSD #2 please :j It's gonna take some doing to get to 15 this month though.

Oh, I did win a lawnmower on eB*y last night, but I haven't had to hand over £ for that yet (COC) so not counting that as a spend - and even if I did, the auction ended while I was out so it would have counted as yesterday anyway.

  • Another not a NSD day, quite unusual for a Sunday but I made the mistake of walking through the clothing department in Mr T's. My clothing budget is £18 lighter but it could've been a lot worse.

I'm so glad that people asked what F0lk$y is, that way I don't have to ask. The jewellery looks wicked Elf, You nearly spoiled my no spend day. I will buy some later in the month though. Love the blue earrings

Almost a spendy day as I picked up a wire basket for my sink today, got it home and realised it's half an inch too long, so back it went. Thus a no spend day. :D That makes no 3 for me.

Jinty hope you enjoyed the King's Speech. I thought it was a brilliant film. I even managed to stay awake. More than I managed for little fockers last Wednesday. Missed about half an hour of it. shocking I know. I must be getting old

    Have a good week all.
