Elf - just had a quick nosey and your jewellery is beautiful!! I'll keep you in mind when I'm shopping for presents :)

Small spend day, a few groceries but not much else. Been at work all day, a nice bit of overtime pennies heading my way. Three day off now so maybe a glass or two of wine tonight xx
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....
  • ELF your f0lk$y shop looks fantastic & your jewellery is so pretty, i especially love the purple bracelet! Hope all goes well & you sell loads!

Well i was doing so well for a NSD, until i popped for my mum's candlesticks & succumbed to a pan  The thing is it is one of those fab old style egg poaching pans with the little plastic thingys so the eggs always stay in shape & i've wanted one for ages (& it's purple so will match the kitchen :D)

    Oh well, tomorrow's another day!

Well, my 'man with a van' is now a 'man without a van' :o

something serious has given in it, which the man in orange van said means it's only fit for scrap (luckily a works owned van and not his, so they'll have to sort him a replacement on Monday). apparently quite a normal problem with 175k on the clock ;)

so I ended up driving over to collect him, and will have to drive him back at some point tomorrow as well. he was worried about the cost of me doing so (thinking of my fuel situation) but I told him I was going to do it..... so apologies to anyone who thought an 8:30pm meal meant 8pm arrival only to find no-one at home. journey back took longer than normal due to having to do a detour - spotted the m/way was closed between 2 junctions on my journey up, so he checked the map for an alternative before we set off. matrix signs on m/way were warning of the closure, but as I'd seen how bad the tail-backs were on my way up we actually came off a junction earlier than most folks - which probably saved us the better part of an hour sat in static traffic :D
