:)Good morning all!
First off - thanks Holidayaholic for your kind words!I'm so pleased that you feel we're helping, that's what we're here for! Also good wishes to all our "newbies" Everyone is doing really well!
Ended up having a busy day yesterday - PAH for a new collar and lead for His Majesty,Homeba$e for paint testers and Co$tco for some meat for the freezer, doormats and new kitchen towels.
I did some decluttering in the afternoon and I now have a big bag of towels and sheets to go to Fresh Start ( a local charity which helps people who have been homeless set up their first home)Another bag with clothes, books and dvds for British Heart Foundation.
OH cleaned all the downstairs so its all looking good!
We have FINALLY decided on colours for the paint so I've reserved it and will pick it up later today.
I need one more NSD to maje it to target, looks like it'll be tomorrow - right to the wire;)
I found how to do smilies ( can you tell) thanks HolidayAholic!Have a lovely day everyone
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Morning everyone
Cruising in with number 10 today, and target met!!! I'm going for number 11 tomorrow because it's the last day of the month, and this no spending can get addictive. I agree feb has kicked my backside in all kinds of ways. Hoping March is a bit better. Ooh, did pay off my Barclaycard, so 1st target me there too, although they're taking a damn long time to allocate my payment-probably tactical so they can squeeze that extra bit of interest out of me for my last statement.
Cheerio. Have a great day everyone.

From other stores on the complex I also picked up birthday pressies for my younger GD. These are needed for her party in 5 weeks time, so one job I had down for this week was to try and find something suitable - can't believe I managed it without any real effort today, and can probably hold on to an NSD during the week as an added bonus
Only really frivolous spend was a cake tin, though it's really a mould as it's silicon
It basically makes up an 18cm high, 17cm diameter cupcake, which I thought would be great fun as a birthday cake for those of a more senior age (as well as for little ones). It's one of these, but even at £4.99 I gave it some considerable thought - and had it out of the box to inspect and read the instruction leaflet.....
But I'm going to have to play to figure out the cake mix quantities it needs, as it talks it terms of 'boxed cake mixes' and the only indication of anything else is that the mix should fill '4 cups'. Whilst I do have measuring cups I've never put cake mix into them to see how much it makes, so I can see some baking days coming up to 'test' it while I'm off work this next week[/QUOTE]

Hmm, so I fell a little bit off the wagon.
Thursday was spendy ... had a very tipsy night out.
Friday was spendy ... hangover meant OJ and a bacon bap at work for breakfast.
Sat was spendy...after college met a friend who's just got back from holiday.
Whoops.
So not going to reach my target but I'm not too far off.
Today and tomorrow will be NSDs.
Will update later if I manage it0 -
Just popping in to say that I have no idea how many NSDs I've had (although I;m gonna guess not many!) so I'll be starting again in March

Oh dear - I hope it was nothing serious - nothing like a bit of bribary eh?
Well, added to my spendy day yesterday with a night out so I have a bit of a sore head this morning and need to get my arris in gear to go and get this lawnmower. Have just noticed the house looks like a bombsite and I would just quite like to go back to be.
If I'm gonna make my Feb target tomorrow is gonna have to be a NSD - however, i had a text from my friend last night and it is quite possible that tomorrow might require our planned Tues lunch to be bought forward (I'm sensing a 'special' night out she was going on on Fri didn't quite go so well) however, if she needs a bit of cheering up I'd rather be a good friend and miss my target than be a rubbish friend for the sake of a NSD.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
