Well, my HHI saw the bottom of the Mr B ironing pile for the first time in ......... ????? Well, if I'm honest, there is a bag in the RoD which I found when I was up there, but that is not on the downstairs stool, so temporarily does not exist. :rotfl:
And, made a start on the house ironing - there's something therapeutic about doing 'straight' things after trousers - which I hate.
Off to remove washing from the line before the dark clouds do any dumping, and the oven's on heating up nicely for a tealoaf - then I'll be back for another HHI.Work is not my Hobby0 -
Today for me is irnoning, loads and loads of ironing:D OH has done his OCD bit on the kitchen so I have ironing and the bathroon to do:DProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
Both bathrooms cleaned, washing twizzled & more on, lego models admired & squabbles sorted
- bedroom floor is a WIP.
Next HHC at 2.45 if you want to join in? Having a HHG I think whilst its fine - may not last too much longer its very grey...
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Yes. If you dont they will die, if you do they will be fine.
ThanksI'll brave the weather sometime in the next few days then.
Hall now cleared of stuff collected from OH's flat weeks ago. There is still one box in the car but it will have to stay there for the moment (although I have to empty the car on wednesday as I'm going to see my parents at the weekend so need space in it). Not sure where all the books I'd 'lent' to OH are going to go as I seem to have inadvertently filled the space. Looks like I'm due another cull.
Plug holes are descaled, and ther is a pile of stuff working it's way up the stairs. Floordrobe is slowly reducing in size. Need to decide what to do with all the smart/casual work clothes from my old job now that I either need suits (of which I have plenty) or am at home so can wear pjs, jeans or whatever I feel like!
Still getting missed calls from whoever was calling during the night:(
Oh well, better get back to work and join moam's next hhc. Hope everyone is having an enjoyable/productive Sunday.0 -
Afternoon, well I've been out and got some bits of shopping, managed to finally remember the WD40 from poundland for my stiffened car lock and our creaky bedroom door.
Anyway whilst I was out hubby has hoovered...can we have a moment please...this is possibly a first...:D...and he swept the kitchen floor and sorted some washing out and put some in the dryer and folded the dry stuff.
Last week he made tea....I mean properly made it, cooked some mince and mash....so my question is....who is this man and what has he done with my husband.[
Oh forgot to mention our hamster,Fatty Arbuckle, escaped last night, in the house with a cat
roaming around in it.
Luckily hubby heard him this morning and we managed to get him back in his cage, unharmed.for all who need 'em.....can you tell I've found some more smilies...

Can't help you with that one, but if you find out, please let me know!:rotfl: Also, does it work on DSs?
Lunch eaten. Bathed. 2/4 homework tasks done. WM and TD swapped over and all dry towels put away. More stuff decluttered.
Conversation had with DS1 about unreasonable behaviour this morning, but no apology yet.
Next, out for milk/cheese/eggs and a visit to MIL's. Must come up with something for tea, too, and help DS2 with the rest of the homework. And if I could fit in a powernap before tonight, that would help me with school stuff, too.0 -

I should stick to the ignoring them tactic. Is it Sandy by any chance - or whatever her name was? Brain tumour in the really not very well in the head in the nicest possible sense woman?
Eta - fatal to confirm that it is a real live number. Used to have this with XH and partners of latest squeeze. which makes me appreciate how lovely it is to have untidy but TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL partner 'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
