Afternoon! I haven't managed much flying this week as was still a bit down (yet again!) but ........ I did go to football yesterday and then went to the pub for a drink with my friend and had a lovely time so things are looking up :D And I was told at work on Friday that I seem 'chirpier' so, hopefully, this progress will continue!

Mumof2 - my meds were increased 4 weeks ago and, as you can see, it has made a difference. Fingers crossed it does the same for you.

Helen - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'm glad you were able to be with your lovely dad at the end and that it was peaceful xx

nixie - so sorry to hear your news; take care xx

embb - so pleased DGD is on the mend; thoughts and prayers continuing for you all xx

seafarers - great news on his return!

juliejim - great news on DH's job!

poohbear - glad DS is ok

sammiell - thoughts and prayers for you nephew xx

AnW - poor W; hope he feels better soon xx

    embb - congrats to DD1

Love, hugs and prayers for all, especially Toots, L-L and LW xx

  • Good afternoon  Major inroads have been made on labelling of photos :T I'm made some faggots and they're in the Rayburn. We'll have them with mashed tatties and (the last of the HG) neeps :)

I shall count my blessings on that front too :)

embb - Great news - Power of the Flyladies works again ;)

Samiell - get well vibes for your nephew

my brain is a sieve, so Get Well to the porlies (including my chum Master W), congrats to the DH who has a job.

Greenbee - continue to ignore the phone (when DD was 14 she had lots of texts from unkown number through the night. When she was invited to Southport, she responded and got a distraught text back apologising for troubling her - possibly worried we might contact the police  )

I should stick to the ignoring them tactic. Is it Sandy by any chance - or whatever her name was? Brain tumour in the really not very well in the head in the nicest possible sense woman?[\quote] I thought that, but I'd actually kept her number in the phone just in case of issues in the future. I'm keeping on ignoring for th moment, after all, if it was someone who wanted to speak tome they'd leave a message, wouldn't they

;Eta - fatal to confirm that it is a real live number. Used to have this with XH and partners of latest squeeze. which makes me appreciate how lovely it is to have untidy but TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL partner

Want that one. My new job is next door to the RSPCA centre. Oh dear.
and does DH know about this?

Lots of stuff cleared, but still quite a bit to do sadly. I'm going to have a break and see whether I can summon up a bit more enthusiasm later. I did get the last box of stuff from OH's out ofnthe car and most of it is put away, so it's better than it might have been. Kitchen table is my biggest stumbling block. Why do people keep giving me stuff that takes up space....

Will do . . . And I'll just have to remember to switch that phone off at night too!

Ok... Book and sofa for half an hour, then I might manage to get some more done. It would be nice to get hoovering/dusting and floors done tomorrow, so getting kitchen surfaces cleared and the rest of the rubbish and recycling done is today's priority. I'm trying to set realistic targets for myself for a change.
  • oops HHG turned into a hour and a quarter - but stopped to make the boys some tea, and maybe DH would like a cuppa? Also green garden waste bags are totally full, collected Tuesday, so a bit limited on whatI can do until I have some more space. Front garden is at least now respectable..:o

Going to have a short break and then crack on for another HHC at 4.30?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I have the dreadful task of telling all of you who remember her, that my dear friend DIVA has sadly passed away .... I'll let you have more details when I get them .....

Afternoon, well I've been out and got some bits of shopping, managed to finally remember the WD40 from poundland for my stiffened car lock and our creaky bedroom door.

Anyway whilst I was out hubby has hoovered...can we have a moment please...this is possibly a first...:D...and he swept the kitchen floor and sorted some washing out and put some in the dryer and folded the dry stuff.blissysmile.gif
Last week he made tea....I mean properly made it, cooked some mince and mash....so my question is....who is this man and what has he done with my husband. headscratcher.gif[

Oh forgot to mention our hamster,HSwheel.gif Fatty Arbuckle, escaped last night, in the house with a cat HS3298.gif roaming around in it.
Luckily hubby heard him this morning and we managed to get him back in his cage, unharmed.

HS56f50c5961246aa8e363e52881d43e2b.giffor all who need 'em.....can you tell I've found some more smilies...smilie.gif

    What smilies??:D

I decluttered 3 32 litre boxes of stuff at the vintage fair yesterday as well as a couple of things that didn't fit in boxes... and have sent a bag for life of CD's and DVD's as well as a box of records for sale.

Now to luxuriate in the cupboard space. If you see what I mean:D

ETA Ah, that's a blow about Diva. Time for the flowery tissues, left some at the door with the hugs, spoons and sticks. February can be a difficult month.

    So very sorry xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
