Can i live in my bathroom??

Amazing what you can achieve in a small amount of time isn't it?

Also, no you cannot live in your bathroom, it will get messy and if you do the same to he rest of the house one room at a time it will ALL be that wonderful that you WANT to spend time in it!!

Before you both go to bed.. Clear away pots and mugs, even if they are not washed so long as they are neatly stacked ready for washing it makes all the difference.

Pick up 10 things from your bedroom floor!

And pick up the box filled with old, bacteria riddled makeup and throw it in the bin.. Don't look in it.. just fling it..

Seriously it will take seconds to do this lot!!

    Hey all

I came on all ready to have a moan about my seriously hellish few days but instead would rather hand out hugs and love and sticks and spoons to some lovely peeps who really need it.

Pigpen ((hugs)) but also big yay for getting the house signed over! Rough with smooth eh...

Well I didn't pop back but we carried on a bit long, well me and DS2 as DS1 sloped off but the moods he's had lately, I wasn't arguing when he offered to go to bed.

We got all the living room floor cleared, most of the dining room floor, 2 bags of stuff flung, cleared some of the junk/clutter to where it should go
One day I might be more organised...........

    maybemischief Happy birthday!

xx jo xx Great attitude but have a hug for your rough time.

    Valli - fantastic post

Poor DH had a nightmare drive home and didn't get in until 10.15pm. He's shattered after a long week so I've left him to sleep.

Rarely everyone is home this morning as DD1 was babysitting for a friend last night. I think I will instigate a helping hour to get set for the weekend. If everyone picks up their own gibble and puts it away then the house will be alot better for it.

My knee is in a bad place so don't think I will venture very far. DH is taking me to look at a new car.:D

Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday x

Pigpen Great news that the house has been signed over. :j
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Dear all,

Want to hand out love, hope and strength in unmeasurable amounts to all in need of any....

I may not post every day, but I do do something in the house every day and I thank you all for the stick and boots up the a**e you unwittingly give me....

(Piggers and her army of spiders features a lot in my inner conversations now....) :o

I don't follow the exact list every day, but take them as inspiration and a sort of routine-building....

The following has been done this week (mostly on the days suggested, but some not and some of it is done slightly and will get done better next time.... BABY STEPS!!!!)

Monday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining areas
    Level One
    Sweep and mop floors
    Declutter and wipe worksurfaces
    Level Two
    Wipe ALL large appliances
Wipe and replace all small appliances
    Level Three
Clear and wipe out one appliance
Wipe table and replace cloth if necessary

Tuesday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum the floors!
Clean out the fire place.. vacuum dust and fluff and soot.. if you burn wood your chimneys may need sweeping!
    Level Two
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
Dust and deweb.. make sure you do light fittings and bulbs! do picture rails and coving too if you possess it!
Clean the sofas.. vacuum under/between/backs cushions.. turn them over for even wear if possible.
    Level Three
Wipe over all the fluffy electricals.. don't electrocute yourself please!!
    Wipe grubby paintwork

    Wednesday ~ Master bedroom
    Level One
    Declutter the floors and vacuum!
    Level Two
Clear the floordrobe/shoes/bags etc that are strewn around
Clear and tidy the top of a wardrobe/chest of drawers
    Level Three
    Do your pillows need replacing?
    Binbag dance

    Extras
    1. Empty and wash out all bins upstairs
    2. List 5 things to sell/giveaway
Thursday ~ Bathroom, WC and Study
    Level One
Declutter and vacuum/mop floors in these rooms!
    Level Two
Polish screens (microfibre cloth and a dab of white vinegar brings them up a treat) and mirrors and glass shelves.
Shine taps and shower rails and radiators
    Level Three
Remove all dirty laundry/smelly soft furnishings to the wash basket
Replace bathmats/shower curtains/sponges and toothbrushes that are manky
    Friday ~ Everything else!
    Level One
Declutter floors in childrens rooms, hall, stairs and landing
    Vacuum these floors
    Level Three
Tidy up coats, bags and shoes..
Wipe paintwork in a room you've not done this in for some time

    Extras
    1. Clean fronts and backs of 2 radiators
The house looks the best it can at this moment and when the kitchen is finally done and I can properly tidy things away, the rest of the house will follow.

BTW I went to the darkside for a nosey and was scared.... very scared. I also didn't get why I had to shine my sink nor why i would need to wear shoes whilst cleaning????
I hastily came back... I love the slightly rebellious feel of this thread and the true warmth and care you all show!

    :AMuch love to all,:A
