I'm here...in blown to bits as I've just been out to put more books out and collect some that I hadn't managed to collect :snow_grin I've already got £100+ worth of orders so I'm a very happy bunny :D:D

Now flying...hmmm....:o I've done whats had to be done the past couple of days but thats about it. So I've printed out the list and will be allocating jobs to DD to do tomorrow while I get on with others ;) Computer is not going on until the list is as done as possible :rotfl::rotfl:

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • dancemum, how awful! I hope it doesn't take too long to heal. Make sure you let it rest properly. I sprained my wrist a couple of years ago and it still plays up from time to time because I was impatient to get on with things.

    Happy birthday, mumof2! :bdaycake:

I woke up this morning to a fresh loaf in the breadmaker and a wash load ready to hang on the airers thanks to last night's flying. :j I sorted through the coats, hats and scarves (I knit so there are a lot of these!) and got the needle and thread out to repair a dog bed that's been cluttering the top of my hallway sideboard for weeks. Also got the dailies done and crossed a job off my long term to-do list.

I made the grown-up decision to get rid of a lovely good-quality Topshop coat that I got in a charity shop for £5 two years ago. I have to accept that it's too tight around my hips and hangs funny and there's not much chance of that changing anytime soon, especially since I made a batch of Peanut Butter Chocolate Pillows to fill the oven up when I was cooking tonight's spinach pie. :rotfl:

The kitchen floor also got a very thorough sweep and hoover tonight when I smashed a pickling jar. The glass fragments went everywhere, and I have a shy little dog who is becoming more curious as we encourage any sign of bravery. If he decides to brave the terrifying space under the kitchen table I want to let him do it without being jumpy about glass fragments.

I've really enjoyed my first week on the thread. You all have such a great attitude :T. My house is already feeling fresher and more under control.

Do we get the weekend off then ? :rotfl:

Typed a rambling post and lost the lot somewhere ........

Pigpen - lots of sympathies - and I guess your hands/wrists are no better?

Spent a HHC removing all sorts of paperwork from my work bag and spreading it around the room to dry - and wondering why it is sticky as well as saturated in milk. However, me-thinks Pigpen and her Flyladies have been at work because I have absolutely no idea why I am carrying half the stuff around, so much of it has now been decluttered.

Off to finish off and have a sit down.

    See you tomorrow.

  • just off to bed but thought I would share that my bathroom looks blimin gorgeous after the 2xHHC at lunch time, thanks all for a great week, and I never thought I would say that about cleaning:rotfl:

Pigpen you have my sympathy, I married a bloke who is stuck in the victorian age, according to him, men don't do housework, dont look after kids and dont cook, my daughter said if he was left on his own it would be the Life of Grime at our house. I used to use him as the reason our house was/is a mess, but no more and fingers crossed, I can try to have a nice tidy and clean house:) despite him:eek:

    Can I afford the calories:eek:
