Got the new lappy up and running.. it's sooooo pretty :D and bright blue! Done everything on today's list, apart from mopping the floor. I'll do that tomorrow before I go to work.

Now to get to grips with Windows 7...

  • Well that was a carp day!

DH's car failed MOT on problem with brakes....£160!

    Dad had biopsy.

My car ran out of fuel on way to Dad's biopsy (I was taking him and my mum)

    However...
In law's came out and saved the day with hospital lifts and helping sort fuel problem.

DH cooked tea and did the brownie run.

SIL bought me lovely flowers, bottle of bacardi and a bottle of diet coke and chocolates

Had lots of lovely texts of friends cos of Dad's biopsy...they don't even know the car nightmares.

I have such lovely friends and family...may have been a carp day but I'm lucky in so many other ways!

Now supping a large bacardi and CBA doing any flying....so there! Fortunately kitchen still sparkling from mammoth cleaning session on Saturday.

Hope everyone else ok...not read thru thread so hugs where needed to everyone.
  • There's an elephant??I'm confusled :)

LameWolf if you can find me on FB there's several albums of husky and husky wannabe (the beagle) pictures :) I'm in the flyladies group on there :)
Actually any flylady who wants a nosey ;) mostly it's just dog pictures

Right my lovely DH has tomorrow off work. And in very not MSE style he's called the private scanning place. Gonna see if we can get an appointment tomorrow - I'll let you guys know :)

It also means that he's flying tomorrow rather than me, I shall sit here, drink tea and err <cough> supervise :)

  • I'm in again, kitchen and dining area looking much better for an hours attention this evening.

Not feeling too good as I'm full of cold.

Added to which eldest dd and I lost an entire morning of our lives in the orthoptics dept of the local hospital - though hopefully we now have the correct referral!!

Finally to add insult to injury the newsletter from dd's school which lists last Fridays parents assembly appeared on the website today.
I'm cross about this as dd was presented with an award for her improved handwriting - a huge achievement for her as she has a specific learning disability the main manifestation of which is her appalling handwriting (hence the morning in orthoptics) and I missed it. It seems a few parents were emailed the newsletter the rest of us were just meant to guess.

    Ok mad rant over.
