wow is all i can say. i think i might make something similar as xmas pressies for my little ones. my dd, loves unicorns and fairys, my ds 1 loves trucks and monster trucks and dinsours and my ds2 is fireman sam mad. i'm sure i could come up with some lovely ideas as a snuggle blanket for them.
do they take long for you to make them ?0 -
About 2 week, working on an evening. I bought a good quality fleece for blanket then overtime I seemed to acquire bits of fleece and occasionally I bought a cheaper one from Ikea to cut up to use. Think I did 14 blankets during the year for last christmas.
Ig you do a google image search for "colouring pages dinosaur" for example you will get lots of blck white pictures to choose, print off the ones you like and then use them as you pattern pieces to cut them out. I have quite alot of fleece "bits" jcr so pm me your address and I can put some bits in the post. For one grandson I used midnight blue for main then I stitched planets, rocket etc on. I even used some glow in the dark embroidery thread for the moon stitching, it works.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -
i like doing crafting of an evening when all the little ones are in bed. summer time were out alot so i don't get much chance , but winter time, i find it amazing how much i can get done. my children go to bed at 7, so i have plenty of time. i just finished a patchwork quilt so i have time for another project.0
