My biggest worry is that the majority of drivers only change tyres because a garage/MOT tells them to, let alone measure accurately what the tread depth is
there are a lot of people who do not check tyres,dont want to appear like andy gray/richard keys but a large number are women my missus would not even contemplate putting air in let alone checking tread.
personally i go down to 3mm before changing but at a max on the wear bars which are at 2mm,would never leave them to 1.6mm.0 -
Tyre reviewing never works too well, most people have little to compare against and everyone has a different driving style.....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
