fallen_angel09 wrote: »Hi everyone, well done on your low grovery spends!
I am wanting to join to try and get my food bill down each month, however I do have a fair bit of food left in my freezer and cupboards so would it be cheating to use that, because it would look like i spent little?
I do buy reduced meat whenever I see it and freeze....
Presumably you will have a higher budget on other months if you need to stock up more, or you might like even to set yourself a separate whoopsied/reduced budget ?
If you want to be added to the budget list on the front page please post that in red so MrsM can see and add it.
e.g. Can fallen_angel have a budget of £XX for Feb please ?
We also declare at the end of the month in red too!
All the best and welcome!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

but he doesn't notice if he has fish and chips every thursday!!! so as long I don't stick the plan on the fridge I'm good.
That sounds familiar! :rotfl:
Also - first shop of the month, the T*sco bits (and a little bit of meat, I must admit. Mainly cause I haven't had a chance to get to the butcher), coming in at £51.95/£200. Lots of bargains though! Off to cook the yellow labelled quail for supper!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Another spend today of £3.19. Milk, pesto, some chilli crackers & a newspaper. Almost bought some whoopsies that I didn't need
The meal plan I made is, well, not being used really but have started having freezer surprise every night!! By the end of this month my freezer should be empty, ready to be filled with new whoopsies!! Tonight was "stuff pasta" made with some spinach, green beans, tuna in a cheese sauce. Had some tomato & garlic flatbreads (10p whoopsie)
I'm feeling very GC this month and I'm not gonna shop unless I really need to. (Famous last words):rotfl:My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!
