Waiting for my cooker to be fixed at the moment, but I've copied it to my list of recipes to try once it's back in action.
Very well done on the not smoking :T 10 days! That's a fantastic achievement! I found the first day ok, the 2nd and 3rd I could've ripped somones head offDay 4-7 just working out what to do with my hands, and working out how to distract myself from wanting one first thing in the morning, while drinking a cuppa, after eating a meal and especially when having an alcoholic drink. After I had that sussed, it all fell into place.
It does make you feel good about yourself, I have to say. I gave up in October 2006 (and my OH and DD still smoke) Stubbed my last ciggie out that morning, and haven't had so much as a puff since. So YOU can do it too
Thanks Hippeechiq - day 11 today!
And I hope you enjoy the apple cinammon cake when your cooker is fixed... I had another wedge with a cuppa tonight. Don't worry, I've decided to go to S/World this week!
Anyway, I'm declaring at £146.92 for Feb. This is over £100 under budget :A but not so surprising as I have been unable to get out muchand living out of cupboards/freezer. Restocked cupboards this week, but will need to restock freezer so this will probably even itself out! Might increase March budget to cover this?
See you all over in the March thread :wave:0 -
Hi All.
Sorry for not posting much this month. Have tried to keep up with the reading the thread, it moves so fast!!
Hugs to all those who need.:grouphug:
I would like to declare £374.24 for the month. I had planned to run my stocks right down to nothing this month as i needed to have a good clear out and declutter my kitchen so i did set my budget for £250!!:oNot good. This didnt get a chance to happen as ive been so busy what with one thing and another, also had a trapped nerve in my neck for the past week which is really getting me down now, especially as the kids were at home for half term last week too. Had planned to do so much with them and havent been able to. Had to do my shopping early for march as is didnt know if i would be able to get out to do it. Spent over £100 last week stocking up just incase i cant get out on stuff i didnt need for Febuary at all. Hey Ho. It will get eaten. The mass clear out will have to wait!!
Well done to everyone who has come in under!! Great achievements!!
See you over on the March thread!

I'm declaring £209.85 out of a budget of £150.00 (cue deep feelings of shame!!!
)
My only defence is that I had a pregnancy 'wobble' on Saturday where I walked to the supermarket and was so desperate to get out I just chucked loads of stuff into the trolley!!!

Just popped on to declare for February - spent £150.57 from a target of £150
Could slbhill be put down for £150 for March please?
I have been finding that for me the key is to do a full shop once a week and stay away in between!
Although there are 5 Thursdays (my main shopping day) in March the 5th one is after next pay day so I am hoping to be under budget this month instead of scraping around it!
Do most people give themselves a higher budget if there are 5 shopping days?0 -
came in under budget at £263.89. this is a combination of nobody really doing a shopping list and my husband not going to the shops! hes been doing really well cobbling meals together from the bargains i buy in my local booths...Grocery Challenge Feb 16 £346 /4000
