I have gone way over budget this month
I could have stayed on budget but decided on Tuesday night that, with 3 children off for half term, it was just silly to worry about keeping within budget rather than keeping them happy with plenty of options for snacks etc. My budget is very low and I didn't really account for them all being home for the week. Anyway, I am not worrying about it, but am going to raise my budget for March
Right, I am now going to work out he damage and post on my signature (it's going to be bad....)Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Have just done my last tot up of the month and my spends for this week were £50.98 ..a bit annoyed with myself because i wanted it to be half this but forgot to account for the school hols:p!! Still an impressive budget for 4 + 2 cats and 2 dogs me thinks, so i will go update my sig now:D. Slightly over this month but I had reduced it by £20 .. I think maybe with the price rises I should stick to £200 in future;)

Afternoon all, And it is a fab sunny one in Inverness!!!:j
Just popped in to declare my totals for Feb, £391/£375, so quite happy with that. Decided to do my meat shopping at MorrI$ons this week, spending £39, £8 in the pound shop, and the rest on veg etc in ALD!
Seems like I've got loads in for this week, including some gardening offers to set me up for summer.:)
I am gonna try putting ribs in the slow cooker, has anyone tried this?, and do you have a nice recipe for BBQ sauce? That will be for Saturday Tea, as I am working, and Sunday will be Lamb Shank, also in the S.Cooker. Using it quite a bit, and seem to be getting on OK!
Hope all are well, Please put me down for £375 again in March, gonna try and stretch this for a whole month this time!!!!!
Wish me luck! Keep up the good work all, and thanks for the Feb thread, I really have enjoyed reading It, and March will be as informative, I'm sure!!!:o

Hi
Well I had to pop to Sain****ys yesterday as I couldn't manage until today for a few bits, and I had just been for a painful dental appointment so I wasn't my best. Anyway I spent 11.22 which takes me over my budget by 19p! So I can now declare my total for February at £200.19/£200. I have a separate alcohol budget as we don't go out much at all, either to eat or drink but we do like a couple of drinks at home mainly at the weekend. I am wondering whether to up my budget for March and include alcohol, does anyone else do that?

Pinwheel - I have a seperate budget for alcohol as I get too confused adding it into my GC Budget - too much for my brain to handle and too many receipts to be flaffin about with!!
But others add it in so its whatever is easiest for you

Kathlicos - Thinking of you and your family ((((HUGS))))
Nickjw - Another one here with the Co Op members card, every bit is a bonus
Pinwheel - I don`t include alcohol spends in my budget as we rarely buy it but i do include the ingredients for the wine that i make.
