There you go hun - not sure if it will inpsire or not. (NR) = New Recipe I'm trying this month, and a couple of meals like Kung Po Chicken & Ginger Chilli & Garlic Chicken, are from jars I bought last year before I really got into cooking from scratch, and that need using up, the Chicken Chasseur is Colmans, cos, sometimes it's nice to have a "cheats" meal :D and the Maple Bacon Quiche is a whoopsie.

Apart from Boston Pork Casserole & Barbecue Pork - which I've been making for 20 odd years - almost every other recipe, I've found on the internet over the last year.....apart from Egg n Chips of course :rotfl:

That's is why I enjoy mealtimes so much, as all these meals are relatively new to me, so I'm not bored of eating the same old, same old I must have at least another 100 waiting to be tried (I kid you not ;) )

I like to try them out on a weekend, when OH hasn't been to work all day - that way, if they turn out to be gross, it doesn't matter so much IYKWIM.

I normally try to have 2 veggie meals a week, but I was a bit distracted last weekend because of DD, so it hasn't quite worked out this time.

LTS Thanks for your kind words hun :kisses3:

Back later to update spends - bfn.

Edited to add Am I the only one who doesn't regularly have a full roast?

I get my life into perspective reading these boards. Some of you are having very difficult times with seriously ill family members, some with scary financial problems, some who must feel everything is going haywire and yet, somehow always manage to make the rest of us smile, give wonderful support and advice to everyone. This group must be the most supportive bunch of people you could find anywhere. Thank you

  • CASH BACK AT DONALD RUSSELL

I use TopCash Back site as they do not require a £5 registration fee like Quidco. I think the cash back on either site is much the same.

Have Thai Red Curry with DR beef rib trim in Romeska. Bought the sauce from DanAp site. Smells lovely, only another 20mins to wait!

    hugs and kisses xxxx

Was gifted my evening meal: chicken curry and rice. Super yummy! For lunch, i opted for a mega healthy golden syrup sarny...

  • Goodness this thread taps along a bit quick! Not sure i'll catch up, had almost an entire no spend week except tuesday when I treated the kids to a Mcdonalds - I know it was really naughty :o BUT I shan't feel guilty, they're all good kids and at 15 weeks pregnant quite frankly I couldn't be bothered to cook - despite meal planning double blush!!! :o:o

Anyway will update sig but fairly confident we will come in on budget this month - Good luck to all :p
