    Hi all

Hipeechiq - I think you deserve an award for doing a 6 week meal plan!:j I struggle doing a week or at most a fortnight. Like you though, I like to know the night before, what we're having for tea so I can get it out of the freezer in the morning and there's no going back then!

I recently complained to Cadbury because my sons mini egg dessert only had a measly 3 mini eggs in it... They sent me £5 in vouchers for taking the time to complain!:j
Thank you :) Nice result about the mini eggs :T - I've said before, I don't think, as a nation, that we complain enough!

Blimey! LTS Sounds like you deserve a bottle or 3 ;) of wine with Ofstead and your sons tantrums.

How did the Ofstead inspection go?

I don't know why, as it's only the 16th, and my month doesn't end until the 28th, but this seems to be the longest month ever!

Hi Hippeechiq - Yes I think Ofstead went well thanks! Well at the Governor's meeting that I was at this evening (till 9pm!) the Chair of Governors gave us all a little bag with four cookies inside which had the letters G, O, O, or D engraved on them but still a little hush, hush until their report has been verified back at their H/Office!

Wish I could say the same for my DS - I don't know what's come over him the last week but I tried to speak to him calmly to tell him that I was concerned about his behaviour & all he did was ask me whether we had to get Super Nanny in! Grrh!

Sorry - Not very MS any of this I know!

Anyway, glad to see you still posting & still managing to hang on in there despite all you are having to deal with at home at the moment.

  • NSD for me (3rd in a row!)
However I am over budget  by 10.24 and I still need another 30 to get me to the end of the month!!

Perhaps I was being over ambitious and also forgot that I had an extra male adult to feed for 3 weeks so I guess if I come in under £400 I'll have to settle for that

It will be fine in the freezer for months as long as you wrap it well ;)

  • Well, I have my vegbox coming today with some extras to try such as some organic meat which was on offer, that all comes to £38.55. Plus I have given in to a smallish Sainsbugs order which is going to be around £46.22. Getting dangerously close to my limit for this month now but at least I won't need to do a big shop for a couple of weeks now, should just be milk and fruit and veg if needed.

I spent several hours doing my menu plan at the weekend, but the result is that (including this week) I menu planned for the next 6 weeks, incorporated 4 new recipes to try and haven't repeated a meal once, so I'm pretty chuffed :j

How do you do that?! I can only mean plan for a week maximum, I run out of ideas! Could you please and if you do not mind just post a few meals so I can get inspiration? :o

I have 4 kiwis I need to use, I saw a recipe with yogurt to make some kiwi frozen dessert so I think I will give it a try. If it is good, I will post it later.
