Yes, some people do spam but it is usually reported and removed pretty quickly.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

A tad nasty! I have not read the thread in question, but arran m does make a good point here, there is nothing to stop you reading other boards. Endless duplicate threads mean that good offers will be missed.
I ddn't think that my post was nasty at all tbh.
Can you point out what I said that you consider nasty? Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

It was nasty and dare I say childish because you were attacking the person rather than attacking the point
I made my point very succinctly and politely in all cases. I did not attack you in any way. Can you point out how I attacked you?Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Your post was a veiled dig at arran m. We can all dress things up with pretty language, but it is quite clear what you were really getting at. I trust you would not suggest that other high posting regulars may benefit from spending less time on MSE? There was no need to make it personal, which is what you have done.Gone ... or have I?0 -
arran m, maybe you could start a new thread on this subject, and hope it doesn't get hijacked this time?Gone ... or have I?0

I do think that 500 posts a month is quite a lot! But the reason I made that suggestion is because he/she seems to be getting very wound up, wading into threads complaining about reposting/posting in the wrong places (etc) and aggravating other MSE users. It's getting a bit tiresome to read at this stage. Maybe spending so much time on MSE is causing him/her to lose a sense of perspective, as I have said. Nothing veiled about that!
As for hijacking the thread, I am the subject of it (!)... and I believe that we all have a right to free speech?
Agin, arran m is entitled to an opinion, but I think that he/she should refrain from the kind of posts I have seen, people do not seem to appreciate it. Most MSEers (imho!) seem content with reposting etc. I know that some people here are real sticklers for the rules, and that's fine. Just try to live and let live. That's all I'm saying.

I was hoping that one of the board guides could reply and not someone that clearly has to resort to petty insults to make their point when they can see that their opinion is clearly flawed0 -

The majority of posts I have read seem content with reposting etc. I know that some people here are real sticklers for the rules, and that's fine. Just try to live and let live. Maybe your posts aggravate people, but people would not be so rude as to tell you to refrain from posting?
You are not the subject of this thread, arran m simply gave your comments as an example, and she didn't even name you when doing that. The subject of this thread is duplicate postings, and she raises a valid point.
We are all far from perfect, but you are coming across pretty badly here. Perhaps you should take a break too?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Maybe best to PM one of the team, ask them to look into it?
Try not to let people bother you. It is inevitable that not everyone will agree, but it is a shame when people lower themselves and make it personal.
On that note, I'd best get back to work ...
