I WILLINGLY click on links to support the site. I trust the integrity of the recommendations and the ethos but I am case that needs a lot of work and a lot of TLC from the MSE Community.

I now use a homemade bath scrub consisting of liberal amount of raw granulated sugar, light olive oil, salt, honey, and a squirt of shampoo for fragrant soap factor.
This works perfectly well and means I am averted from all those fancy jars full of expensive scrubs.
I am not Old Style but this book has some really ace ideas which hail from the Old Style Economising.

Just use ordinary malt vinegar. I think fresh lemons are very expensive, so I buy bottles of ready squeezed lemon juice and put it in a squirty bottle for cleaning.

I bought all three of Martin's books. At the moment my credit record is so poor I can't take advantage of many of the Money Diet goodies, but i absolutely love the "thrifty" book. each time i open it i find something new to try.
