Have been to play group this morning (free) and back home......i was seriously melting in the sun today. Weather has turned a bit cooler now, we also had a flash downpour lasted ooooh about 5 mins lol and it's cooler now but still warm and muggy. I'm in the kitchen with the fan on and don't want to move!
Another NSD here for me. So have made my target this month :j
Tomorrow i might take kids to the park or zoo but if it is raining i might just stay in and pack for the weekend. My newphew's birthday party is on saturday so DH is taking DS1 to it (at the cinema- i didn't trust the younger two to sit still) so i will have to amuse younger two without spending too much...Friday is DS1 last day as a year 7! Can't believe it has gone so quickly. Can't decide whether to save for school fees over summer hols or not. I already have enough saved for next term :T but not sure if to just carry on and perhaps have a 'holiday' from saving over christmas, which makes more sense really...yes think i will do that!
Also just in case they have a trip they haven't told us about yet which is going to cost a fortune i will have a head start on it!
Have been on the phone to the local school (DS1 last school) and asking why i haven't been contacted regarding DD's place in the nursery. I was the first person on the list with my friend sometime last year and they have contacted tonnes of people but me! I will be so angry if they have given away all the morning placements ...They have contacted all kids with siblings already in the school and they were offered places first-with choice of morning or afternoon and most have chosen morning which is what i want. -Regardless of whether they were on the list 1 day or 1 yr (like me ) Anyway enough ranting I will just have to wait and see if they have any left as teacher wasn't in today!
DH may even get a transfer to germany before then but if not i would like a break (even if only a half break technically lol as i still have one kids left at home!)
have tonnes of jobs to do in the house. It is too hot to do them. lacking in motivation today......MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Wednesday
Had a busy day today! Fed up of DH coming home at the weekend and telling me house is a tip  so spent ALL morning scrubbing upstairs (and locking kids out from touching anything :rotfl:) hoovered, changed beds, and dusted. I do do this anyway but usually on a monday and by friday when he returns it looks like a tip again as the kids are like tazmanian devils:rotfl:
I also popped to s'bury and bought the kids presents from the 'dummy fairy' lol so spent £30:o
Then this after noon i went to the park (needed kids to run off energy) and had a friend round for a cuppa and some moral support....she had seen my fb status and thought i was having a breakdownoops! I kinda was last night the kids drove me insane! BUT they both went to bed with no dummies :T........took HOURS though!
SO after cuppas with friend, other friend text and asked if i wanted to come round for dinner, never one to turn down someone else cooking and cleaning i turned up 5 mins later........she also was slightly worried about my sanityOOPS OOPS (double one there lol) and i assured her it's ok i am slightly mad anyway and have an awful temper which sometimes i take out on my status on fb :rotfl:
so after getting home kids had a bath, books, p.j's on and bed! DS2 decided NO BED (this is what he said at least 100x) and 30 mins later and 40 times of me putting him back in he finally FINALLY gave in and stayed there !!!!!!!!!!!!1
SO proud of DD though she went to bed NO dummy and went straight to sleep :j...DS2 been to bed since 7.30pm........he is still crying but i can't go to him as am trying a technique (is making me upset more than him i think) but he stayed in bed so result!!!!!!! yey!
DH wants to go out tomorrow night, and wants £50 for it i said yes as i went out last week. And he has been really good in spending less these last few months so i feel he deserves it!
AND checked bank as wages due tomorrow and we are getting about £200 extra than i had done july budget for so it's covered :T
