i'm after a sony bravia lcd tv and have searched the web and everyone seems have similar prices
does anyone have any discount codes to bring the price down a bit

Have you tried the currys 10% code thats doing the rounds?

you could try the Curry's codes,

get 10% off: EMAIL10 PRICE10 YAHOO10
OR: i think that PERK50 takes off £50 off any TV
also, there are the new curry's codes for XMAS - dont know them, but its along the lines of the previous promo (eg: 20 off 200, 50 off 500 etc..)
and, there's free delivery with any item over 299 enter: WK27AF_FREEDEL
(that last one is until 1st Dec)

best prices are debenhams £2000 with 10% discount this week also offer on for half price sky hd £150 and £100 cash back from sky when you buy the tv+
free 5 year warranty and buy now pay 12 months

house of fraser £2000 minus 10% +£200 off sony £399 dvd recorder 3 year warranty and 12 months interest free

sony centre matching debenhams but also the £200 off the dvd

i don't really want the dvd as i have two good quality one already
stuck where to buy from as the warranty from all stores seems to differ
can buy from web for around £1505 but now warranty and no offers on sky

I purchased LCD from Dixons and got £270 off with codes,will post them as soon as my order confirmed and I go all back through my history to find site

I've just bought the 40" Bravia kdl40w2000 W series (What HiFi? product of the year) for £1625 from John Lewis with their free 5 year guarantee. It's truly amazing. They have it at £2000 but price matched Empire Direct. Now that's one heck of a discount and allowed me to buy it from a very reputable retailer. Don't forget that to get an equivalent 5 year guarantee you may have to pay up to £500 extra from anywhere else!

Forgot to mention. JL have a deal where you can buy the TV and get the Sony DVD recorder with HDD for an additional £199 instead of £399. They will still honour this even on the hugely reduced TV price. Take them for every penny you can get!
