I was absolute bothered, oh yes, I even went on live help, emailed ebay etc but he became a non registered user and ebay had little they could do. It happened a very long time ago but whenever fake items come up as a discussion it gets me going again!! xx

always fun if they live local to give a suprise visit, not sure all the way to scotland for what, a £40 bag is worth it

Harrods is less far for you lol :p
  • I would say 75% of designer goods are fake (ie : prada/marc jacobs/dior/louis vuitton, etc). But I don't mind as I am not a collector. I like to wear & use designer goods but I am not willing to pay Harrods price!!! So I opt out via ebay!!! I don't keep my designer clothers/bags more than 2 years old. Sometime I just wear/use it for maybe 6/7 times in a year than I auction it back on ebay to recover some of my money back but sometime I make a profit:rotfl: . So you see, if you are happy with the stuff you bought who cares whether it is genuine or not. You get what you paid for.
  • It's probably more important with some goods than others, e.g. buyers of fake trainers often report them falling apart within a few weeks, when one of the reasons people buy brand name footwear is for durability. If it's a handbag, even a fake will probably withstand years of normal use.
There's another thread about the Watchdog programme around, too.
