Hi, I live alone so its not really a family type diary but I always carry a diary in my bag. I used to have a Filofax but it got a bit bulky so I now use the free Union diary from work. I have started putting some things in my phone that can pop up and send me reminders but I don't always think to do it, its funny because I know a few people who only use their phones for a diary as they never think to write in their paper one but I need a paper one aswell to scribble notes and things in which is hard to do on a phone.0

We use the "stick it on the fridge and hope we don't forget" method. It's not *terribly* good, to be honest........ :think:0

I bought the Organised Mum Life Diary but to be honest hated it - I ended up binning it which is so NOT OS but I got frustrated with it.
I use the iCal calendar function on this Mac and once a week write down appointments in my little things to do/appointments book and highlight times/dates so I won't forget. Works so far!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Google calendar -- we have a calendar each for the four of us, one for the household, one for 'tentative' stuff where we know it's on but haven't decided yet, and one for family dates like birthdays and anniversaries. We also sync to some external calendars for clubs and societies we're involved in.
I don't put the meal plan on the calendar but it's a splendid idea (heads off to Google to see if Paprika can be linked with Google Calendar).Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.0 -
We sue nice photo calendar for decoration, but sets of different, shared Google calendars to organise our family life. Each member of the family has at least one, if not more Google calendar, partially or fully shared with the rest of the family. The birthday calendar is shared with the wider family around the world.
The appointment calendars get synchronised with the individual mobile phones. We even keep track of the childrens vaccinations on Google calendars, as it is easy to search for e.g. "MMR" to check the date they got the last jab.0
