I've got this. It's got loads of pockets and stuff and blank calendars to fill in. I also print things and punch to add to it (although its american so 3 ring so have to use a single punch to do three holes).0 -
I have a calendar on the wall which has boxes big enough to write lots in.....also a filofax (personal size, got on ebay as a bargain when I wanted to upsize from the little one), this has my diary and addresses in. Then I also use a lists and notes book from Organised Mum (they don't do these any more so I stocked up).
I tried the family/personal organisers from Organised Mum but found I was duplicating alot of the info - I have their menu and shopping list pad on the door, and even DH can manage to write on it!! - so I didn't need it a diary as well.
Filofax is fab as you can customise how you use it - also they do a family organiser pack too, I got mine on ebay. And they last forever!0 -
the wife uses a calender with multiple columns so she knows what we are all up to, I use google calendar on my smartphone which works well for me0

I use my iPad with Google Calendar. My mother and father do likewise and we're really needing to sort out permissions so that we can all see what we're up to if we're planning group events.Household: Laura + William-cat

I have a wall calendar for 5 people (the biggest I could find) but there are 6 of us so me and dh share a column. The children have their own plastic wallets which I put letters from school, football, rugby etc in these are pinned on a cork noticeboard. Works for us.

Sounds like me - those 5 column calendars have been my lifesaver. I just get the cheap bog-standard WHSmith one. I also have a cork board. I've tried carrying a diary around, but I just don't need one and kept forgetting to update it - or even consult it :rotfl:0 -

We use the Google Calender on our iPhones. They are linked together so we both know what is going on in the family.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

I have a Palm Tungsten PDA that my DH bought for me several years ago; there's an address book in it, task lists, the "to do" bit allows you to prioritise on a scale of 1 to 5 how vital a task is, and of course it has a calendar. You can colour-code entries - for instance, medical appointments have a red dot by them, birthdays are pale blue, dates my DLA and pension are due are dark blue, dates I have dogs coming to stay are lilac, and so on.
Best of all - if it's vital that I don't miss an appointment, I can ask it to cheep at me, however far in advance, minutes, days or even weeks, I choose.
Wouldn't be without it, now.:TIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
