I have an A5 day-to-view diary... it has birthdays, bills to be paid, appointments, payments into bank, to-do lists and of course the kind of blarb normally written in diaries.. as well as what time KH brings the children home, when he neglects to pick them up, when he is vile etc.. and nice things I want to remember..
In the notes section at the back I have christmas present lists, school uniform lists, account numbers and passwords and NI numbers etc.. all very very useful!
Statements and appointment letters and important paperwork is kept in the inside covers.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

One of these: http://www.organised-mum.co.uk/Family-Life-Book-Diary-p-42.html
Now, I am never one to recommend a more expensive product when something cheap, or preferably free, would do the job, but after 15+ years of pound shop diaries and calendars that were free with a magazine, I finally realised that I never really used any of them as they just weren't right for me - this one above, though, totally did the trick. And it's not just because of the stickers, I promiseAlthough they do help.....
The Life Book diary looks really good and is down from £12.99 to £5.00 as it started in September 2010. It carries on until December 2011 though!
Stickers too! :T0 -
Me you and the kids tended to work for us, usually pick them up in £1 shop. Now we're not so mse with it, it's all on our phones and through webspace we have syncs itself to other computer, each others phone etc
so geeky but we're gadget junkies and DP never used to check the calendar. now he doesn't need to ask what we have on (but still does occasionally) as it's on his phone
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

I use a year planner.
Each week I go through the TV guide and plan what I want to watch, and also write on the TV guide the day's appointments and reminders for that week.
If necessary I put a reminder on the day before.
If I run out of anything I write it on the TV guide so that I notice it before the supermarket closes that night.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

I highlight the programmes we want to watch in the Radio Times. I prefer the tv to be off at all other times (I'm more of a radio person myself). More often than not we don't bother even watching what we have got highlighted, and our freeview box has stopped recording (due, I think, to our DD2 dropping it on the floor)
I've got a WHS family calendar with 5 columns in it, which is ideal for us as there are 5 of us. I write in all their activities and any other appointments on that and check it every day. I don't bother with a diary as I always forget to use them.0 -
I swear by this organizer - not too MSE as I do pay for shipping (think it was around £16 for 2011) but it is fab & has loads of stickers :rotfl:
I've tried other organizers, but this is the most useful one I've found as it has room for everything & is bright & colourful. Comes in a french version too, which the kids loved one year.& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin
