I haven't received anything as yet, and concerned as on the website showing ordering history it doesn't have anything on it, despite them retaking my card details........ mmmmmm !

Received this email after complaining that I haven't received my Shrek 2

I have done a little investigation on your order, and it transpires that
the manufacturer of the Shrek 2 PS2 game placed a sales block on the
title whilst your order was being processed. As such, it was not sent
out with your order of the Shark Tale. Please accept my apologies for
misinforming you that it had been processed successfully. We currently
have a number of customers interested in the Shrek 2 title, but are at
the mercy of the manufacturers sales block (over which we have no
influence). Thus far, you have only been charged 1p for the Shark Tale
game. You will not be charged for Shrek 2 until the sales block is
released. Please accept our sincere apologies for the problems you are
experiencing.


Still 1p for Shark Tale you can't complain.

Got the following email today:

"Unfortunately due to the unprecedented demand for the this title, we are unable to fulfil your order as the manufacturers have now deleted the line from general sale and despite our best efforts we have been unable to source further stock.

An alternative version of the Spiderman game is available however, Spiderman The Movie 2 Platinum PS2, which we would be willing, in this instance, to substitute for the original game.

If you would like us to substitute the product for you, please reply to this e-mail as your confirmation of acceptance."

Are "Platinum" games any better or is it just a way of rebranding the games and making them budget titles?

I've decided not to reply to the email and see what happens. I've been charged 1p for the other game I ordered and received.

Platinum games are games that become very popular. (I think). Is the alternative Spiderman game the same price or not?

Platinum version games come in minimal packaging and without manuals I think.
