Becles
I can see her being like that on the piriton too, she has always had sleep problems the problem being she never needs much sleep will happily go on 4 hrs a night, she has had medised and fenegans (not too sure i have spelt that right) before and it made her so hyper it was like i had given her a tonne of coke and smarties :0)0 -
EURAX CREAM is what you need. My Gp gave it me for my 3, and they are like different children when applied, as it stops itching Fast for 10 hours. Just dab it on the spots or as I did smother it on like suntan lotion. (too many spots to be dabbing)
You can get it on Px or you can buy it over the counter.
Piriton suspension as advised above, works well too.

I second the Piriton syrup too. My youngest two were sleepy with it.
I was too. The tablets didn't cause me to become sleepy.
Aqueous cream is also good for washing with too.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

EURAX - made by angels, sent from heaven! My two had it last year everywhere , in their eyes, ears, scalp, up their nose, in their mouths and every nook and cranny imaginable! Calomine wasnt helping a bit - chemist gave me Eurax, amazing stuff!!!! (Obviously, its only to be used on the skin though)
Also, dont go spending top whack on Piriton - just ask for some chlorphanamine from Chemist! Is exactly the same thing, same solution, everything but about 1.50 instead of 4.00 a pop!0 -
when both my eldest ones got it, i was told by school for them not to return until last spot has scabbed. That took two week's they were litrally covered. my dd had it then the day she was due to go back to school her bro got it. i had a whole month of illness from them.
i think it is bicarb that goes in the bath to help sooth.0 -
we told the parents in our nursery that their child had to stay off until the last spot has scabbed over so I guess it depends on how long it takes for them all to come out.:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0

Shes still not itching like crazy yet thankfuly.
How much bicarbonat of soda should i put in a bath for her, it may seem like a dumb question but i want to help her as much as possibe especialy with her ladygarden being sore too.

Also, do remember it is not only keeping off school, it is keeping away from public places.
The pox can be extremely dangerous to pregnant women and new born babies.
My son got the pox when my daughter was a few weeks old. They have to have a jab that young when they have come in contact with it.0
