I've been with them for a number of years, the network has good coverage and their sim only deals are some of the best I've seen.0

Vodafone's network coverage and capacity is not too bad, like all the main players they have black spots and capacity issues with data.
What is shocking is how they treat customers by moving the goalposts. I have owned mobiles since the early 90's and was on Cellnet for most of that time as they offered slightly better coverage. For years I have network hopped and only during December 2009 did I go onto Vodafone for the first time.
It started great until May last year when they talked about changing how customers could use data. They ignored my concerns and blagged me. I kept on asking questions as this would cost me money, and it became clear they breached my contract allowing me to leave early, however it took over 60 emails, calls and letters before they acknowledged this.
Their staff are belittling and customer service is non-existent. They rely heavily on outsourcing to people who are stuck to rigid scripts. On this forum what annoys me is they pretend to care and post messages about how we should email them, quoting WRT135 in the subject line. They never answer direct questions on this site.
They kept asking me at one point what would make me stay on their network. At the time I said nothing would, given all the hassle they put me through I just wanted to go. These days I am so convinced they don't actually care that I would say give me a free Galaxy Tab and I'll come back to you on a data tariff because I know that's not going to happen, so instead I'll sit and crow about Vodafone at every opportunity I can on here.0
