  • Welcome jemmaali! Do you have a co-ordinator sorting things out in Italy or are you doing it all yourself?

Cannot wait to start dress shopping! On a diet at the moment with Weight Watchers. It is going well another 3.5lb and I'll have lost 2stone since we got engaged. Not crash dieting this is forever not just my wedding day!

    Ok rambling now! xxxxx

Well done on the weight loss! :T 2 stone in 6 months is great. I wan to do that! I am starting to change my food habits and going to exercises, at the moment, i do zilch, so any will be good! Just got a couple of Davina DVDs and they look fab, so starting that next week. Fingers crossed! I tend to start these things and they only last a week or so, but being on this thread, I think it will give me more determination to do well, and stick to it. :o
  • lol ill be doing sort of the same thing....but for the skin!! I have quite bad skin really....and i know its down to not drinking enough water! I can have one small class of juice in the morning, and not need another drink all day!! Im like a camel! LOL
so i know upping my fluids will hopefully have some effect on my skin!

as for weight loss, after having my second child i suddenly became intolerant of most dairy things...cant have milk or cream, can only have cheddar cheese in moderation, and most things containing milk gives me stomach cramps. Just from cutting all that stuff out Ive gone from 10st 5 to 8st 12. and I havent really done any exercise...dont have time for it! try cutting allt he cheese n milk out and see what it does :) xx

:rotfl:Made me laugh! I am a bit the same, as I can have a couple drinks of tea all day and hardly any water, I just might have a glass of cordial around tea time, but its really not enough water intake at all. I know that hunger feelings can be mistaken, and are actually thirsty, so going to try and do that aswell. I dont know about anyone else, but dont have a lot of cheese, but have milk in tea, and on cereal. If im honest, its the chocolate bars and flapjacks, and cakes from the shop on my luch break that i trough down that im worried about! LOL

Its amazing weight loss youve had with curring the dairy though.
  • lol i used to eat alot of cheesy mince though, and always had cheese grated ontop of spaghetti bolognese, and other pasts etc. and im a sucker for chocolate and cakes!! though the 'good; chocolate like lindt must use lots of milk as it gives me stomach cramps so had to cut that out too....though 'cheap' chocolate like tesco's own choc buttons i can have :) LOL
mmmmmm flapjacks!! cant have things like that either because of the high butter content :(

i really have to force myself to drink!! might go and make myself a hot vimto in a minute, warm myself up abit :)

o i forget to mention too....i have my own blog where im hoping to record all my wedding plans, and talk about my other hobbies too, cake making, photography etc. If any of you are bored enough you can take a look here :)

  • natc...no my homepage on the profile takes you to my cake site i think.

thanks for checking out my blog ;) xxx very much appreciated!

It can be hard deciding on what you want.
But our 'theme' was pretty much handed to us on a plate seeing we are in the zoo! so we are going for zoo animals, on the invites, in the gifts, the favours, the cake etc!

My brother theme was feathers, and had feathers on the cake, in the hair pieces, and on the invites.

I would have changed my mind 10 times by now if it hadnt been on obvious choice for us.

and as for colours, i just went with colours that i liked, not what i necessarily looked nice. I love purple, always have...and lime green is a close second.....then i just threw orange in there to compliment it.

ive started making a list already...(im one of those crazy list makers! LOL) on my 6th list!! writing down, budgets, what we need, what weve paid for, what we need to do next, ideas for gifts etc

i find it all so exciting!

hi donnap, welcome to the madness :)
